So I have to ask my friend now that you've been spending significant time about a brig have you come to appreciate it and have you finally realize it's easier to bail a Brig than a sloop🤣
While watching the video I've come to realize you haven't figured out the trick to quick bailing on the brig. So from one legend to another you stand about one or two steps up from the bottom of the staircase and you just throw the water over your shoulder you don't have to run up and down the stairs you stay stationary and you keep yourself from sinking
9:00 is a pretty good example of why Naval Combat is underpowered. You have both masts down, are on fire, in the broadside of a galleon getting smashed by 2-4 cannons (blunderbombs too!), and holes everywhere. Yet, it was only after they boarded you that they could actually sink you. Bucket needs a nerf imo... you shouldn't be forced to rely on curseballs to win a Naval vs Naval fight. Boarding should be a high risk, high reward strategy... not a universal requirement to win any encounter.
Well you don’t have to board every fight but it’s more resource intensive not to. For example me and my buddy where chillin on a sloop and got into a navel battle with another sloop crew. They where competent enough that it would have been a drawn out fight Because they repairing just enough to keep there ship floating. After I boarded however boom fight done right then and there.
@@zackamor8043 You're missing the point by a mile. Actual Loot doesn't conveniently float to the surface, undamaged, after you sink a ship. Actual Ships don't magically respawn at no financial cost. Actual Wounds don't heal because you ate a banana. Actual Pirates relied on intimidation to convince targets to GIVE them their loot. Combat was avoided whenever possible because that shit gets expensive quick. They had to board to get the loot undamaged and ready to fence. So what actual pirates did is completely irrelevant to the topic because there is a clear separation between gameplay and realism here.
I want to say a great big THANK YOU for showing this video. Letting lesser mortals know that even the great Fuzzy and Co. can get sunk, but shake it off, come back and kick butt. Some folks are so dejected by failure and think that they suck when they lose a battle and give up, well, I say, even Fuzzy gets sword shredded or sunk and looted, but you can still come back and beat the enemy. Never give up... unless it is dinnertime...
Rocket pointed it out Once during the video. But it's a very underrated feature of the brig, it's ability to turn sharply with the back sail raised. And with two crew raising at Once, you can turn a chase into a fight very quickly if you have good sail management. TL:DR; Always raise your back sail when trying to maneuver in combat on a brig.
How do you actually have this much resource? Like.... I know a few methods to gather insane amount of supply but that takes a lot of time. Specifically, I'm talking about the "buy resource / gather everything from the outpost / go to a fort / loot everything from the fort. I'm actually curious
The last of the 5 new Tall Tales is great for that. You fight hordes of ghost ships but every second or so gives you a Loot Box. We ended up with 600 Cannonballs and Wood after sorting it all.
As much as you can learn from seeing a win I feel that, at least every now and then, you should show a fight where you stood no chance and explain where it went wrong and what was the better choice
GG Phuzzy and crew, that was an awesome fight..I play with family that does not have many hours in the game,so to pvp is really hard when I bail 5 buckets you find that my family member bails one..I still love them to bits and we have a lot of fun, would not trade them for a better crew
Every special item seems to affect galleons more than anything else. For example ballasts chainshots because you need multiple people to raise a galleon sail fast. Anchor all because you need atleast 3 people to be occupied on the anchor to get it up quick and now fire bombs
Lag spikes, when affecting the whole crew usually are Galleons loading in, Gold Hoarder Vaults opening, or someone doing Shores of Gold. But most of the time is Galleons. Ofcorse this won't be the case once game and servers are optimized
No, loot floats for about 5 or so minutes on the surface, regardless of mermaids or not. It's merely to watch for survivors of the sunk ship, and so they don't hide on your ship or worse keg you, and that the mermaids could help with that since they'd aggro them too.
my question is where do they get all those cursed cannon balls from. i only ever find one or two on an island and maybe a few in a random storage crate
Anyone know if you can get the Season 3 stuff for Level 100 if you make Pirate Legend after the fact? My first time playing and it seems pretty shit that all I'm going to get is a tattoo for that.
@@huseyinozel8627 Yes, the Wailing Barnacle ship set is no longer available. The Silent Barnacle set is a recolor which is a permanent addition but needs a different commendation to unlock.
I was thinking. You know those pirate lord secret bases that Rare wanted to do but didn't know how to implement them? The portals at every outpost make that possible now. Maybe make a new set of quests that are super crazy and then that gives you a new interaction on the ship that opens the portal to like a custom island that you can edit or something. When you complete the mission you can choose to spawn at your base, sail through the portal and you'll be at an outpost anyway.
so …. i absolutely suck at pvp… is arena skill based match making or is it just what ever poor noob that happens to log in get smashed by the same 10 crews over and over
must be tough to make a guide for ship to ship combat, every fight is unique. Of course they all boil down to get their mast down or anchor but that's easier said than done. Our strat against galleons has always been wait for an opening, let stay afloat and wait until you get that perfect opportunity or see that you can turn harder than they can, something like that. Never gonna win in a straight fight.
I think if they took out the blunder bust it would be more skill than just shot gun and make this more of a pirate game. it feels like call of duty some times when all you see is the broken weapon that people just use and it should do 50 percent at point blank range than 100 or make snipers realistic and make them 100 percent damage on headshot and pistals 50. I get tired of the blunder bust because how dumb it is
So youd rather get one shot from a range, then from point blank? You realize how useless this would make blunderbuss right? Also back in our day we had to fight sniper skeletons. They were far worse then any double gunning "pirate legends" we fight nowadays, they were removed because they were too hard. making snipers one shot headshot would be like adding this back on steroids
I kegged a crew mid battle after telling them not to keg me, they got hella salty when I sunk them. I’m new, should I feel bad or just move on cause that’s what people will do to me if I let my guard down Edit: I did it to be an asshole and to get the upper hand in I fight I knew I was losing.
Continuing the Blunderbombs bombardment after the wraith shots would've prevented their recovery. 10 Blunders should have been sent prior to the Vanguard boarding their ship. That Galleon could've been sunk in that moment, imho.
If there's absolutely no editing or advice of any kind, then isn't this just gameplay? I love your content man, all of it, but just label it what it is.
The advice is given through the stream , I try to include clips of answering questions and describing why we perform certain actions during battle. Like the reason why focusing firebombs on that Galleon took them down.
Phuzzy ur cool but there is no real reason to play there is no real progression system and.the only rewards u get for grinding 5 or 6 hours on is cosmetics also the fan base is toxic I'm not a hater and plz can no one tell me why I'm here...because I can
its clear and simple. for the fights. most likely the vary thing you mistake as "toxic" but in reality is the whole point of the game and the shear randomness that comes with it being a always online multiplayer, from just regular ship v ship fights to having random ships just jump in and pick a side or fight u both and this gos vise versa iv had a max reaper gally just pull up on me and instead of just sinking me. challenged me to a round of 1v1s to see if my ship will live to Randoms just handing out loot to crews just for fun we play for the player interaction be it the good encounters or bad

Brig easier is easier to bail, but easier to sink.
It's surprising how good Rocket is getting at chainshots. The student is becoming the master.
"nice 2 shots man, I hate you" hahaha
Do you mean "how good rocket is at getting chainshots."?

How to be good at Sea of Thieves?
Get yourself a Jackie!

If you hit them with a rigging ball after knocking down their masts it bugs the masts and makes it harder to raise them

Good job phuzzy. More quality content!
Hey Phuzzy what other great pirate games you played besides sea of thieves?
Great video will there be a duo sloop vs gallon thanks
Yup, next week
Awesome comeback yall, excellent team work
I have a lot of fun watching your videos Phuzzy keep coming 🤣✨
That was great, man! GG's.
I think I would’ve done the same, amazing video man!
And… that’s how you sink a Galleon 😉
Galleon vs Brig essentially is 4 vs 3. A ship with two decks that can take water vs a ship with one deck that can take water
Wow.. Evenly matched. GG
Phuzzy: harpoon me man, nice, I hate you😂
The scene at roughly 8:00 in was just too much for me and the other funguys, Holy shit. All my senses would have just collapsed.
i once put a chest of rage on the bottom deck.
The water got boiling. Now that could make for an interesting video what do you think?
what are your gloves at the beginning (the left hand has a glove and the right doesnt)
That was a great battle
This was a fun stream!
Nice
You have a very nice profile picture.
@@AlexWAviation You as well.
u fought the black pearl

What cosmetic is the thumbnail ship on the right rocking?

RAW guide. What happens if it becomes COOKED?
Then its like those guides on how to install mods.
Great fight!
Next time can you do a cooked guide?
i hate when whole crews wear tuck outfits it is so damn cheap, that was awesome brig control on the harpoons man
Why do you shoot flintlock without ads?
Doesn't slow you down, and it's faster after a reload
It's inaccurate
How you find so many other ships and that special cannonballs?
Generally I don’t care for streamers but this dudes pretty alright imo.
Sad seeing a Black Pearl Gally getting sunk but good video nonetheless
Why do you block when you know they’re gonna shoot?
What cannon flare is that?
my question is where do they get all those cursed cannon balls from. i only ever find one or two on an island and maybe a few in a random storage crate
From Jackie 🤣
There should be a terrifying title awarded to pirates that excel at bleeding an island of resources. Like "Bane of Barrels" or something like that.
@@theodoric4270 well theres a title called “chair master” so I wouldnt doubt it.
What sails are those?
Maybe you should unequip that weird ghost sword that doesn't block anything or hit the living... 🙃

Rare already showed what happens to Solo Galleons with the Lost Shipment voyages :D
