Great race by cooper teare, Grant fischer not so much. Id like to say it was bad luck, and indeed it was hard to see what actually happened, but somehow this crap always happens to Grant, and it’s because his tactics or lack thereof put him in these situations where he gets boxed and/or clipped.
Unfortunate because he looked to be in good form.

@@EpicGamer427 why did it fall off, because he got clipped (it can’t be because he didn’t tie it and secure his laces). Why did he get clipped, because he runs the rail and falls into a position with heavy traffic. If he ran tactically better, this wouldn’t always happen to him.
This looked like the track meets of the past, where the fans are on the infield and track side to cheer the competitors on. I love it.

I didn't notice it until he finished. Rewatching it, he loses the shoe on the back stretch with ~230 or so to go. Crazy

Why is everybody messing with grant fisher in races. First he got tripped up at worlds and now he lost a shoe. Grant fisher needs his chakra cleansed

The announcers were terrible, has to describe the accolades of every runnner during the race. No communication between, stepping on each other’s toes

Grant Fisher tripping Adam Spencer with 350m to go is tragic
It kinda looked like Grant needed the pacer to get out of the way sooner (not sure why the pacer didn't go wider than lane two on the straightaway, blocked any potential moves behind him) and it caused a slight backup when everyone was gearing up for the bell lap. It still is tragic though I totally agree, Adam was running a phenomenal race at that point.
What a circus! No one organizing a serious track meet has heard of crowd control? Put up some tape or limit access to finish area, etc. It's an accident or incident waiting to happen.
Great now we’ll see him race like 2-3 more times this year
