We hv different tests to perform n chck the properties..this test falls in the category of filling ability, known as the slump flow test. In which we measure the diameter of the spread. The range is 500mm to 800mm..but for reinforced sections it should satisfy 700mm-800mm(SF3) category. And for your information, the orientation of the slump cone has little or nothing to do with in SCC. It's just to fill the concrete easily in the cone. Thats it
We did this scc on our final year project. The slump indicates the horizontal flow ability of scc..i,e without any obstruction to its flow in any reinforcement. As per EFNORC guidelines the slump flow should be lies in between 650 MM TO 800MM then only it becomes a scc mix. After this test V-funnel and L-box test was also conducted to know it's filling ability in any vertical form work and passing ability on horizontal surface.

Akmal Kenit its self consolidating concrete this is an s ring slump test most places per their requirements will have you do a j ring test which is the same thing but with a 20ish inch diameter ring with several bars going down to the board to simulate rebar. You pull it the same and measure the two within i believe 5 minutes tops fron eachother and make sure they are within 2 inches of the recorded. Diameter

To get the concrete to flow and fill correctly tell the driver to add 30. Fourth. Use a vibrator Fifth. Have concrete guys do The job. Not factory shop guys.
That wasn't a slump test pouring that way will give you segregation and that much water in the mx will make weak concrete ,,,all in all a crappy concrete pour !
Phil MacGregor that’s called a spread test. Getting the concrete that wet was 100% chemicals. You can tell by the lack of segregation. W/c is probably in the .40-.45 range. I’m sure its a good strong mix.
In 50+ years, I’ve NEVER seen a slump test performed like that!!!
