Cocktail Limelight: How to Make Coquito

  • TODAY'S RECIPE
    COQUITO
    2 - 15oz cans Coco Lopez
    24oz Thai organic coconut milk
    5 cinnamon sticks
    3 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp allspice
    Pinch of salt
    Clove + star anise (optional)
    1. Bring all ingredients (minus Rum) to a boil, remove from heat and let cool.
    2. Once room temperature, add in 1 cup Rum (or more if desired)
    3. Strain and blend for 1 min.
    4. Bottle with a used cinnamon stick.
    5. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
