I just noticed that the original starting roster for CTR (Crash, Coco, Cortex, N. Gin, Tiny, Polar, Dingodile, and Pura) used their victory animations from that game.
Only exclusions are Oxide (He had no victory animation), Tropy (I'm pretty sure he didn't do a sick trick with his staff in the original), and Fake Crash ("ME?!").
Funny thing is that there were plans of remaking of the CTR tracks for Nitro Kart.

@@paulreviews7538 It's not lazy programming. Vicarious Visions were just very faithful to the original Naughty Dog games. To the point where some details were blatant copies. But with improved graphics and visuals. Though they did make some changes to the characters, particularly with Coco Bandicoot, Tiny Tiger, and Nitros Oxide, most of the details are more or less the same but with improvements.

Just judging this ending sequence alone by the incredibly repetitive voice clips, poor lip syncing and lack of other sound effects, it's telling that this game was very rushed, because those things would've been prioritized had they affected gameplay in any way
@@_G.C I guess you're right. Though I never had an issue with it. Since it still had really good graphics for its time. And it definitely had the best graphics of any Crash Bandicoot game when it was released. I was even more impressed when I discovered that Vicarious Visions were also responsible for making Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure/XS and Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, which had the worst graphics of any Crash game.
Probably not a fair comparison when those two games were released exclusively for the Game Boy Advance. But most of the models used for those two games extracted animations from the Naughty Dog games, or occasionally Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, while low detail models were used for the animations that the developers couldn't find in the previous games. And yet, Vicarious Visions created their own models for the console version of Crash Nitro Kart.
The GBA version of Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage/Fusion mostly used the same models from the Huge Adventure and N-Tranced for the old animations, while the Crash Nitro Kart models were used for the new animations. The fact that they used different models is obvious, as Crash's fur is a different colour for the animations created specifically for Crash Purple.

Yup as a kid this game really creeped me out. Such strange sounds & graphics - why is everyome disfigured? It explains why I hate all the Nitro Kart characters even in nitro fuelled where they look cool lol

La mayoría de animaciones de victoria de algunos personajes se repiten y se notan forzadas, es decir, en CTR se puede decir las animaciones eran más naturales o menos toscas.

Cuestión de gráficos de plastilina, no es el único que sufre esto, toda la saga de Ratchet y Clank en esa época tenía las mismas animaciones estáticas
la de dingodile se nota que que es la misma del crash team racing pero que trataron de mejorarla,mientras que la de pura,crash,coco y polar parecen ser las mismas XD
La de Crash si o si era intocable, su bailecito es demasiado característico.

It sucks not a lot of people pay attention to this, but with the exception of Fake Crash, everyone from CTR who returned in this game has had their victory animations remastered, with the exception of Oxide, who never received one
