Technically yes, but the e series has been getting some offerings like a beautiful 1600p screen. So despite the naming I find e series equal or sometimes even better

Hey!! I was just watching your review of the e14 gen 5 and then you launched this video. Which one do you think is better for coding? I do love the 16:10 of the e14. Do you think the e14 gen 5 is a good deal at usd670? American dollars. The one with ryzen 7530u 8gb of ram (planning to add a 32gb stick more) and 512ssd. Thanks!! Keep going this way!! ❤
I'm getting a great deal on x13 g3 with i5-1250P and my other option is a L14 G4 with 7530U . Ram and ssd are almost same for both models? I do prefer better build construction of x13 but intel processors need more power than amd so I'm concerned about battery life I'll use my laptop only for daily use and programming. Also I'll install linux on it. What would you recommend?
Battery life will be better on the AMD model, but build quality and performance is better on that Intel one. Kinda would recommend the x13, just get a nice little usbc GAN charger for travel
Hi ! Happy 2024 ! Very nice review. Thanks for sharing. I am planning to buy a Lenovo machine like the one you reviewed but I am very doubtful about the keyboard layout. Could you please tell me which keyboard layout came with that machine ? Do you succeed type in directly Latin characters like ÂÊÔâêô (using ^ circumflex) , or vocals with acute or grave and tilde ( ~ ) accents, like Ããàáâ Õõóô Ú and Ü with diaeresis ? Of course type them without using windows accessories character map. Every day, I find myself in situations that I must write in English, Italian or in Portuguese, and these accents are really important to me. Thanks in advance.
Avoid the E series in my opinion because of it cheap build the laptop bend , and went it bend the motherboard with it bend ,and it damage it , you may find youself buying a new motherboard after 1 year or 2

Go for intel gen2 h variant. it has intel arc graphics. But you have to be patient when ordering custom laptop in india it may take upto 3 month to deliver based upon city.
Hy could you give me advise on something. I bought a Lenovo legion 5 pro. The one that you also reviewed on your chennel. My laptop seemed to be fine but when I turned it on for the 4th time with the charger connected some dead pixels started to appear and disappear. So I disconnected the charger and restarted it again. And the issue was gone for some reason. My guess is I connected the power cable to a switch which was also plugged to the refrigerator. Can someone explain what that was
Hi! I recently bought a new L15 G4 r5 7535u with 16gb ram and 512ssd, enough for me, but it has no backlight on the keyboard 😢 I don't use this feature much, but... I see in the video that your notebook doesn't have much, don't you use it often? What do you think? What would you do? I should keep it, in my market for the price (700usd) I can't buy better options, and I recently sold my cpu to buy a notebook. Thanks and I appreciate your time.
The premium on this laptop is the Removable keyboard (Not present in the E series) and the 2 SODIMM slots.
informative review, The L13 Gen 4 AMD with 7 pro is also interesting to review, I hope you get your hands on it too.
Thanks for the review, but the L series is not the most budget series, that is actually the E series.
Please, the E series is better than the L series
I thought the e series were the cheapest ThinkPads.
Hello and nice video, but isnt the most budget thinkpad offering the E series?
Technically yes, but the e series has been getting some offerings like a beautiful 1600p screen. So despite the naming I find e series equal or sometimes even better

The 7530u is a more powerful cpu (even if it’s a bit older). Between the two I prefer the e model
Please, which is better, the E series or the L series?

Oh, I’m sorry I haven’t used those characters. Perhaps someone else can answer
But which keyboard layout the machine came with ?@@TechGuyBeau
uneven backlight in mine.
a kind of beacon on the upper edge - visible when the system starts.
When comparing with E14 Gen 5 which could be better? Thank you 🙏
Different size. This one is more like the e16
It seems nobody agrees what the budget series is.
The E or the L series ?? Some will say L is much better then E, other disagree
Overall they are quite similar, really it comes down to the specifications you select on each model
What do you prefer? L15 OR E14? Gen 4 both
Avoid the E series in my opinion because of it cheap build the laptop bend , and went it bend the motherboard with it bend ,and it damage it , you may find youself buying a new motherboard after 1 year or 2
I mean L series build is already not good but still fine. But E series build is trash. Avoid it !

@@dhrubap-jq6ys thanks for the reply... Will keep that in mind when ordering custom laptop 👍
The one that I got has no backlit😢 can I upgrade with a new keyboard that has backlit?
Theoretically yes.
"lower end", "budget friendly"....ok, I get it bro...sheesh...
?

Probably voltage surge. Don’t plug electronics in near major appliances
@@TechGuyBeau really 😃
Have you ever experienced something like this or heard anyone who faced this problem?
Where can we get an upgraded ssd for this version?
If just do it yourself. Grab a 2280 nvme and plop it in
@@TechGuyBeau Thank you! Was trying to find which one fits for this model

y tf would u care for a backlit keyboard for f sake, buy a external keyb instead
The L series took an L for this iteration. Compared to the E series.
