A very nice BR. Thank you for that. Besides many things, I would like to hand out some (not asked for) advice. Find the room for whelps. Simple reason. I always use them in games where the opponent has some for of drag. You could try to block the drag with a whelp. If your opponents dedicated effort to remove the whelp. thats dmg that is not going into your important models. And if you put a shieldguard in range the fun is even better
doesn't the monstrosity have to stay within 5 to receive the +2 from the agitator? It says 'while within' which to me means they must remain in. maybe the wrecker is still within 5 but it seems pretty far
These 75pts armies look to be perfect size for a "bigger battle". I wish the game stayed between 50 and 75pts standard, although I admit Hordes do not play too well at 50. Maybe 60-75?
It is kind of mindboggling why the Cephalyx decided not to score at all on the feat turn even though taking the top zone and it's flag was so incredibly easy and instead they just handed this zone to the Trolls by leaving the Axer to do whatever he wanted... Why the Bloat Thrall is standing so close to both the zone and the flag and yet contacting neither of them is another question that begs an answer...
Is this game Dead on Arrival??? It’s Frustrating for someone like me (Noob) who would like to get into the game, BUT … 🤔 Can old models be used in Mk4 apart from proxies? Covid changed things, whereby people come up single player games. Can you play single player or do you need an opponent??? Why aren’t the miniatures available from UK suppliers apart from Mk4 & a few still in stock??? Questions Questions 🤔
Hello! MKIV had bit of a slow roll-out since announced but has since mostly caught up to PP's release schedule with several models being previewed or released every other month or so. For this first year, we've seen previews of new armies at least once every six months with around 2-3 new core army boxes being released a year. Older models can be used in MKIV. There are two current modes of play, Prime and Unlimited. Prime is where the new MKIV stuff is and where older models, called Legacy Armies, can be played in a limited capacity. For example, Legacy Cryx has two Prime armies, Blackfleet and Dark Host, each with four different Warcasters to choose from. Prime is considered the more balanced way to play competitive Warmachine and has been the main mode of play since MKIV's rules went live. Alternatively, you can play in the Unlimited arena. In this mode, all models are legal, however, unlike Prime, it was not be as balanced for tournament or competitive play. PP has been releasing Unlimited rules for all the Legacy Armies over the past few months with a goal of having all rules out for all Legacy models by the end of this year. Due to production, PP is no longer producing Legacy models. This is due to multiple reasons, one of the largest being that some of the molds no longer exist for these models. This is why you will see MKIV product vs the older stuff. We recently released a Warmachine Community Finder website. If you are looking for a group near you or would like to post looking for group, please complete the form on the site and we'll get you added. We're hoping the site will help link up other players. We've seen a huge uptick in events and people trying out the game or coming back in the NE USA the past few months. We're optimistic MKIV will continue to grow well into 2024 :) sites.google.com/view/warmachine-community-finder/home?
I love that the Carnival posters are literally just from Malifaux! Great crossover!
Im digging the carnival terrain theme as well.
Painting Mk.IV Cygnar as I listen. So excited to get back into the game.
The spooky carnival music at the beginning of the match is great. You would think Tim Burton was playing.

Even the Monstrosity moving in 45:50 is positioned as if the zone was on fire or something...

The game looks so sad and small now.
