The last item looks like a tire buddy, a baton shaped tool for checking the inflation of truck tires. You bang the tire and listen to the tone it makes. If it's lower than the rest of the tires, you need to put some air in. If you see someone at a truck stop walking around their rig, whacking the tires, that's what they're up to.
I'm guessing I'm probably wrong though.
Ha! I got the wire-bending jig, even though I’ve never seen one like it before.
Me too.
So did I!
The US officer that you identify his rank as MAJOR is wearing the 2 stars of a Major GENERAL!
Simple, cheap, and effective for communication. Priceless .
Plus you can easily identify any people who went to catholic school in the ‘70s. They were used by the nuns to have all the kids genuflect at the same time in church. Click that sucker, see who drops! 😜😜😜
The D-day clicker, or a version of it, is used by many dog trainers, with various combinations of clicks being used to signal commands.
I liked the old ice equipment. I was born and raised in north Pennsylvania. There is a lot of old ice dams up there. Also alot of freaky "ice tools". The blocks were put on trains for America! ❤
at 7:11 it is a farthing on each side as a penny was much larger than a farthing, :)
I guessed the wire bender.
Four farthings equalled one penny. The Royal Mint did not produce any farthings after 1956 and the coin ceased to be legal tender in 1961.
It's the pouch and handle for a gun cleaning kit.
Thats not a British barrage balloon, its to big, the army personnel are American and the british barrage balloon was mounted on a small trailer. In America barrage balloons, I believe were used around the Great Lakes.
1st item Friend or Foe clicker. Last item was a tap grenade without the grenade...
0:59 weird face action on the far paratrooper. Wondering if he has a balaclava on or something, or if he is an alien. Of COURSE he's an alien, that makes the most sense. /sarc
It only looked weird because of lack of shadows but I think his eyes are just closed. Turn up the brightness of the pic and it isn’t that weird looking.
Not a dovetail - a box joint.
Thanks to an episode of 'Time Team', I was able to recognize the barrage balloon. It's funny how much one can learn from unexpected sources.
Glad you like it!
Well I didn't know any of these! But I'll keep trying!
The Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote loved the Acme brand things, such as the 470 Clacker.
I always enjoy these!
Thanks!
The last item looks like a needlecase my grandmother gave me.
👁👁 Happy to drop by
♥♥♥♥ 2nd!
So…. You might want to check the date on that thing left on your doorstep and lay low😂
Yeah, the description wasn’t exactly encouraging.
Handle for a German hand grenade?
6th comment
What's the comment?
Wow! Ain't you special
What a big mistake that clicker nuff said
I saw that movie decades ago, too, where the ‘cricket’ sounded like a bolt action rifle being cycled and got men shot.
@@mred8002
And if you ever actually shot a Mauser you'd know the action does not sound like that. Movie BS
@@kirkstinson7316 I had my grandads 1893 cavalry Mauser for decades, and several of later vintage. If not intentionally dampening the sound, it could indeed sound like that. I can’t see anyone in combat, in dubious areas being so careless, though, so likely movie dramatic effect, as you say.
Those are not dovetail joints on the wooden box, they are tongue and groove joints. You should really check things out before you try to state what they are.. Dovetail joints are angled, not straight. I got several of the others...
Also called box joints
Also called finger joints.
And an easy mistake that happened to drive posting/comments and other algorithm positive actions for this channel.
Actually a box joint
Not tongue and groove joint at all. Tongue and groove joints are on the edge of a long board used for flooring or roofing connecting the edges together. Those are box joints or finger joints.
