It seems that people's only criticism of Ethan Ewing is that "he can't do airs." This video shows he can blow the tail out and do airs with ease, and when he was younger he did them bigger and a lot more often. But nowadays he just places them wisely in the overall flow of the wave, and that's why I see him as the current best surfer in world. Every aspect of his surfing is simply world class. I'd way rather see a guy surf with diversity and flow like this and someone who is clearly loading up with their legs spread far apart waiting to land that one big, and often flailing, air.
