- The Battle Cats is a strange mobile game where you collect and fight with cats. After our first episode, I had a TON of requests to play it again. I got a TON of recommendations to play this probably because of my My Singing Monsters (MSM) videos, but I actually had some fun with this!

Friday Night Funkin' is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron "Ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r.

Honestly Battle Cats is one of those games that has a lot of charm to it, though it can be a bit difficult in the early stages. I would absolute adore if this became a series along with My Singing Monsters and other series. I can give tips though to help aid you in your cat army to conquer the world (and several times over)! There won't be spoilers (hopefully). You do not need to listen to me or anyone; play the game how you like. However, I do hope you have fun playing Battle Cats.
Tips Below! v v v
1. Units such as Macho Cat and Wall Cat are considered "Meatshields", units that protect other powerful units (such as Kasli the Bane, Salon Cat, and Sexy Legs Cat). Meatshielding is ESSENTIAL to the game progression
2. Save your Cat Food and do not spend it on unnecessary things. Save for guaranteed Uber Super Rares in Rare Cat Capsules
3. Try to login everyday for the daily Cat Ticket and use any cats and upgrades you get. These will help you get "True Forms" (A 3rd form at Level 30).
4. DO NOT UPGRADE CAT CANNON DAMAGE. It may increase attack power, but it also increases recharge time on the Cat Cannon (which is undesirable).
5. The Gacha unit, Salon Cat, is very powerful and should be used consistently for her high attack power and range.
6. Enemies have "Traits" such as the "Red Boar". Some cats and strong against certain traits, such as Swordsman Cat having Strong Against Red enemies (Strong Against basically means deals more damage and takes less damage from the traited enemies)
7. Do not be afraid the spend XP; XP is widely available in the early game so go wild!
8. However, unless you know that a certain cat is useless, DO NOT EXCHANGE CATS FOR XP. It may seem enticing, but it will save you on troubles later. (The only reasonable thing to exchange for XP is Cat Cannon Attack)
9. Try to fashion your line-ups from Lowest Cost to Highest Cost. There are exceptions, but it makes reading your line-up so much easier.
10. And most importantly, have fun! (and sell your soul to a 10 year contract with the cats).
One thing i can say for sure that i did sold my soul 7 years ago to the cats and i have no regrets (now im in this cool community and also im a cat now!! >w< I like cats!!!)
That 10 year contract now has me addicted to gambling, and I'm 100 quintillion currency in debt in every country

Papaluga also has an upgraded version that is HUGE! Try getting it if there is a next episode.
Kasli the bane is more worth upgrading than papaluga since he's not really that great

Also Dark kasli cant hit if enemies are too close to her, The surge attack multiplys her damage by 4x, so she does 4k damage each hit but surge doesnt deal damage to bases
She is broken op, she has Curse Attack WHICH disables Abilities of Enemies!

Hey, thanks for playing again! Few more tips for you, upgrading the base health is crucial to later levels. Second, play everyday that's a multiple of three, go to event stages for a surprise, also on the 28th. Finally, more of a statement, upgrade the cannon range. It can hit the whole map at level 10.

It's actually really funny, you got the only 2 ubers in the game that curse everything(that's their specially ability), but one of them is the best unit in the game, and the other is... papaluga...

You should get papaluga to level 10! I'm 90% sure papaluga turns into an eldritch beast at level 10, (if not it's at level 15)
Please keep doing this series, it's fun to experience some of my new favorite youtubers playing one of the best games to me.
Fun fact, Papaluga is THE worst Uber (not counting some of the collab Ubers like Mola Mola King) and Surfer is such a good draw as it is one of the best Alien counters and will be an important unit for later chapters.

Watching him THE BEST Uber on his first role and then on his second play through got one of THE WORST Uber is funny as hell with him not knowing the difference assuming they're the same rarity and so similar power

1.Upgrade rockstar cat he is so good
2.Upgrade Papaluga be ready to be scared
3.Some cats have a power to atack colored enemis ito deal more damage.

Edit 1: so there will be events called the crazed cats they are just the normal cats but umm spooky kinda and if you get double’s they will add another number in the bottom making them go over the limits of the max level but for the normal cats the ones that are free from the start they get it for free from the grey capsules
Edit2: in the cat book you will see the cats you unlocked it will show the animation’s and attack but you need to wait for the attack to happen oh and the knock back as in when the cats are attacked that’s all for this comment no more helping
It is still a shame that he has the BEST CAT IN THE ENTIRE GAME yet isn't a serious player. 💀
You can use the Encyclopedia or hold on a cat before deploying it to see what it affects. If the trait is lit up, then that means it affects enemies of those types and you can also see it’s other abilities. Kasli has one that says “Long-Range” which means they have a blind spot close to them and will require support in case enemies get into their blind spot. Don’t let that deter you though, Kasli is extremely strong and being “Long-Range” means that she can start attacking from a safer distance than most cats.

Some units have evolution, that is somewhat useless on its first form but in their second form is even better, and SOME have usefulness on its first and second form

I've downloaded and deleted the battle cats a few times myself. I've never completed the game but it was really fun when i played it. My only gripe with the game is that if you don't have your unique code, you have to restart, so I've restarted the game multiple times because of this. It's really fun!
Quick thing though, you can upgrade your cats *past* their intended level if you 'Use' when you already have the cat.

i recommend getting rocker cat to level 10, he is one of the best rare cats in the game, once you get into the future, use him for the angel enemies as well.

PONOS (the company behind this game) are based somewhere in Japan and of course their lewd minds have leaked A LOT into this game, ESPCIALLY if you read the Japanese Encyclopedia entries for some of the enemies and take a look at how many girls and sexualization of male/female characters and bodies are in this game. You played the global version of battle cats which was created in 2014, the other version like Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese version are different which something the global version doesn't have. Japanese version was created in 2012 with just 3 chapters about empire of cats only at first before it soon changed.
