As time goes on, we should also have open minds, rather than pre-emptively blame Boeing for every last incident. This year, there have been too many incidents that Boeing got pre-emptively and wrongfully blamed for, but are not their fault. In fact, such incidents have far exceeded the incidents that Boeing have been rightfully blamed for (ET302, JT610, AS1282, UA rudder jam). Examples include
    - Atlas Air 747 engine fire - caused by improper maintainence done by a 3rd party
    - ORD ground collision - How is Boeing to blame for ground collisions?
    - LA800 - caused by maintainence teams failing to replace a worn part
    - UA2477 - incorrectly reported to be caused by gear collapse. findings show that crew error caused a skidding event, and external force from a concrete block caused the gear collapse.
    - Southwest Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Florida incidents: flight datas point to crew error
    - SQ321 and Air Europa incident - turbulence that no radar system can detect.
    - UA35 (tire falls off 777) - plane is over 20 years old, and should have gone through maintainence
    - any incident involving tire blowouts or explosions
    - Fedex 767 - a plane that is 10 years old is old enough to have gotten its nose gear inspected or replaced.
    - any compressor stall/engine failure - engines are not Boeing’s design, and the planes involved have all successfully landed with damage limited to the engine.
    - improperly certified titanium and fake AOG aftermarket engine parts - both Boeing and Airbus planes have been fitted with these, so it would be a Boeing problem IFF it’s an Airbus problem
    - Death of Joshua Dean - He blew the whistle on Spirit, not Boeing, making him a Spirit whistleblower, not a “Boeing whistleblower”. His death was before any acquisition of Spirit was approved or finalized.

I agree that incidents with airlines are not Boeing's fault. But faulty parts are as Boeing is the end responsible as installer and seller of the aircraft. Boeing has negotiated too many contracts in bad faith to maximize profit, almost forcing bad quality products. And Boeing has not shown a real will to improve, they have only been managing the value of their stocks and focusing on reaching targets to get hefty bonuses. It's for good reason that many deals have fallen through and airlines have chosen Airbus over Boeing.
