It works! I accidentally got a huge white paint stain on my favorite black hoodie but with the help of rubbing alcohol, paper towel and a toothbrush I was able to completely get the stain out in a matter of seconds!

Hand sanitizer is about 65% alcohol, doesn’t evaporate as quickly as liquid alcohol, and works for paint removal much more quickly.

It worked great! I used 91% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol on a 100% Polyester jacket the paint was there for about one year!!! Thanks for the tip

I was amazed as many of the comments left here, my input is to rub with a cotton ball not a brush so that the alcohol doesn't evaporate from the garment and it was much quicker for the paint to rub off. I think it left a little faded spot but I plan to re-color soon.
Put the alcohol in a small dish the size of the stain, then immerse the affected area completely in alcohol, let sit for about ten minutes, then start the removal process. Follow up by a wash cycle with fabric softener only, then use a pill remover. Done.

Thank you so much I got nail polish on one of my favorite sweaters I used rubbing alcohol and an old toothbrush luckily we got new ones the day before haha but I kept rubbing and it came out a little tip is to use some nail polish remover as well to get it out faster thank you so much 💖
Omg thanks so much I was working on this shirt and some of the white paint smudged or got on a section I didn’t want it to. And here I was trying to blend black fabric paint to match the shirt and cover up the white 😂🤣 wasn’t until I found this video that really helped and was surprised that rubbing alcohol could do this
This really works, yesterday my coat got painted in the subway, so i looked it up to find what to do, & yes It took me about two hours to remove paint off my outer sleeve I used a green scrub sponge with rubbing alcohol in circular & then straight motion it all came out completely.
Finna go to the fair and I wanted to wear a specific pair of jeans and I forgot that the ones I wanted to wear had a orange paint stain and I looked this up and did it and it worked👍🏾👍🏾

This helped my daughter's clothes because she's in art and it gets really messed up on her clothes and I was just going to buy a new one or throw the other one of the way and just make her wear her old one but you saved it
This worked, it got the dried white line of paint off my jacket. Just make sure you test a spot on the garment because now where the paint was, there’s a small discolored line because it took some of the color off the jacket with the paint. Great video

It definitely works. I used plenty of Alcohol and scrub really good with the tooth brush then straight into the washer
Just tried this method on my BAPE shirt. I got primer on it about a year ago, and I got a good amount of it off using this method. Going to keep doing it for the next two days to get it all out, I want to do it in segments as not to harm the fabric too much, and there’s some in the A so I’m trying to be careful with that as well. Works on designer shirts ✅✅✅

I just stained a sorority T-shirt I love yesterday! Gonna try when I have two hours
I used 91% rubbing alcohol and let it sit on the paint spot on my jeans for about 5 minutes then used a green scrub pad that you use got scrubbing dishes and the paint came off in about 5 minutes. Had to keep putting alcohol on the spot as I scrubbed it bit it worked really good
I did it on a Carthartt hoodie and it worked, It took me like 15 minutes tho.

Thanks goodness, I remember how to search "how to get rid of the paint"? This thing works on my fave winter coat, thanks a lot coz I don't have plan of parting my fave winter coat. Problem solved, it's a lot of work though, scrubbing it off using the isopropyl alcohol!

Went to a painting event and my boyfriend splashed gold paint on his pants. He thought they were ruined. This tip worked, so happy it worked out.
For my shirt. I had only 50% alcohol. Instead brush, I used my my fingernails. It work.

I’m about to try this on my Nike fleece pants I hope it works I got paint on them. Thank you! And by the way if your cotton faded just go buy a black paint fabric dye and wash it in it and it should look better I’m sure. I usually do it with my black pants when they start fading 🙌🏽

What if you soak the item I alcohol for maybe 20 minutes and then scrub?
took about 2 hours and I did not remove it completely I used 5 different things including rubbing alcohol ... I believe it because I did not clean it right away and instead ignored it for like 2 weeks ... was black paint on a beige denim jacket, YOU MUST REMOVE THE PAINT ASAP AND DONT WAIT.
If you don't have a sponge can you use a rag

What u also can do is if the paint is hard scrub it with a tooth brush and if it leaves a lil stain try soapy water scrubbing a lot until it comes out

I used nail remover on my jacket and worked 98%
What you should've done is soak the spots with alcohol for an hour or two then scrub it.
Does it work on Satin / Silk / Wool? Or does it black / fade colors?
Does it apply with a Jersey too ?
What about acetone? As I don't have any rubbing alcohol handy

This worked on a Jansport bookbag that had paint for years fixed it
the tooth brush isn't strong enough. Use a butter knife (gently) or, the dull knife in a pair of fingernail clippers. (the point can come in handy) For the sponge, use one with the scrubber on one side for a little more abrasion.

If you brush the alcohol in immediately and then add a bit more, you may have better results. I also let mine sit for 15 before scrubbing. The more alcohol you use the better your results.
This method worked well for me:
Apply alcohol scrub apply a bit more let stand 15 minutes scrub. Repeat. Launder.
