I started off my trip from Lumbini in Nepal which is known as the birthplace of Gautam Buddha and has a number of beautiful temples worth visiting! I then moved on to Pokhara - a place that I think I will surely visit once again and sooon!! Because Pokhara is a place that you just can't seem to get enough of!

Why didn't u took 20mins local flight to gautam buddha from Kathmandu and price of flight is not that much also and from the airport you can reach lumbini in 20 mins .
I don't make my bookings myself :) Also, a road trip is always a preferred option for me
