Excellent interview. Really inciteful questions, and great interviewee. As he doesn't use hammerheads and thinks sunforges are slightly overcosted it would have been nice to hear discussion of what he uses for anti tank, I presume the riptides. As mentioned by someone else it would have been nice to have seen the list, for those of us not subscribed to Best Coast Pairings.
@@tautactics Thanks for posting the list. Love the tigershark model, but the fact that its likely to go to legends are meant other things have beat it to be the top of my buying list. Its expensive so starting Legion Imperialis recently beat out investing in a Tigershark. I suppose 2 hammerheads could replace the tigershark but they would be no where near as good.
Thanks for your comments! It was a pleasure to record with John. We chatted a fair bit before and after, so there’s a chance the antitank question was missed in the discussion that he recorded. To briefly touch on it. I have found breachers and riptides more than sufficient for killing light vehicles even before T3 sustained kicks in. Or when the tiger shark comes down. For example, a riptides flat 4 dmg 6 shot gun, wounding on 5s is not far off the same as shooting a lascannon or two that wounds on 3s. Breachers reliably pick up rhino-like vehicles when they’re on an objective. Important to also appreciate the list packs a lot of seekers that can carry you into most lists at the moment. If you check out my stream game on war games live you’ll see how I navigate a guard army with 6 or so vehicles including 3 leman russ and 2 hellhounds :)
@@rathstarI think the way to go is having a unit that you can ingress to attack a staging ruin in a similar manner that the tiger shark sees over it. For example, a third breacher fish. You definitely can’t go wrong with one hammerhead in the list either.

Really good, love the different views of the meta from us in the states VS Europe

Thank you! The full list is in the description - the tiger shark is the main anti tank for sure

It would be nice if we had a character that can have the same ability as callidus assassin.
What would be cool is if they changed the useless enhancement in ret cadre to it!
The BCP link can't seem to work, is there another way to see the full list? Thanks!
Full list in the description
@@tautactics Wow, much appreciated!
Would be nice to get his whole list in the comments!
The BCP link is there but I can paste bin it next time. Thanks for the suggestion

I think Tigershark is almost unplayable on an WTC table :s
But very well played
Yea it’s hard to take advantage with all those tall ruins
i don't even think riptide will go up
We can only hope
Volume levels are quite off. I could barely hear you and still getting my ear blasted by his audio. Great content though
Sorry bud I think I didn’t realize my mic was a little too far away, glad you enjoyed either way!
