Your hair needs to be pretty damp. You can’t have dry hair which is what you’re doing. The heat isn’t what curls the hair. The wet to dry is what curls. And yes, use the cold shot. Read the directions, it outlines this.
@elinoradams2498 we wanted to do it when they were still damp, but by the time we were ready to film they had dried. Also, we have both done it often where our hair was damp. I can remember when I first got my Dyson, I tried almost everyday, watched videos how to keep the curls in, did everything, even bought expensive products to keep the curls in, it didn't help anything.
