Just a tip, if you want to be the Ferrari of lighting, spend the extra .50 cents for a female end and cap it off properly instead of putting electrical tape
Great video man! This is what I do full time. One thing I like to do to save a ton of time is bring a measuring tape with me. I measure each run on the roof, and then pre clip, bulb and cut them down at the truck. That saves me from carrying the spool up on the roof with me. Another tip would be to jump wire as you go, clipping on lights that are already turned on ensures I’m not going back up on the roof to screw in bulbs that got loose. Now what I need to learn is how to get on your level in terms of Facebook ads! Keep on killin it man.
That roof looked STEEP. I always cherry pick jobs that have not very steep roofs. Just don’t wanna risk anything. But I gotta get over it so I can make all that easy money
I had to pass up a job today because the house was massive. The LOWEST point on the roof you could access was 40ft high. Tallest house I've ever seen. I had no way to get up there safely without renting a lift or something, and I simply am not equipped yet to do that lol.
Got them romeos 😂 pnw ppl love them thangs lol no shade but i aint rocking them. Cougar paws are the way to go for any roof work. Good work on them lights btw.
Yeah man! When I ordered it was about $1.20 per foot with everything, I typically sell for $7 a foot but sometimes I play with the price but length was about 150 feet so maybe like $180
Hey so females can go in the middle of the line and it will feed power to the whole strand? Then I guess it’s normal to have a male down at the end of that strand to keep it going?
But, Toyota made $53 BILLION last year in profit, while Ferrari only made $900 million last year in profit. Toyota is actually 53x more profitable than Ferrari. Walmart made 143 billion in profit, while Target only made 8.9 billion. I'm just pointing out that, there is 100% something to be said for cheaper prices, and higher volume. Higher prices doesn't always mean you are maximizing your total yearly profit, sure maybe per job. But not necessarily per year. (The per car vs per year comparison of Ferrari vs Toyota for example)
Ferrari has way better MARGINS than toyota, yeah they sell less cars but they make way more percent than having to sell a billion cars and deal with all that.

Wearing the Santa hats during installation is the cherry on top 😃
Facts used Home Depot ones earlier this year and had 1 go out and had a 5 hour job replacing everything because of one bulb!
Never again haha
What am amazing service to provide! Make that Holiday Green!

Hey, I am thinking about taking over my uncles gutter cleaning business. Any advice?
I just downloaded your list with all the materials and I’m wondering what was materials cost for this particular job in the video? Thanks dude!

@@SpencerClaeysthanks man!
What brand of lights are these?
Hey Spencer can you please help me starting my own business please tell me what to do I live in Vancouver and want to start my own cleaning business.
how did you advertise your services?
Needing another source before I proceed: I've read the most C9 bulbs that can be plugged into a single outlet are 200 bulbs MAX, is this true?
I believe it’s 100 I’ve been doing Christmas lights for 4 years it’s safer for 100 so you don’t cause a power outage.
do you ever tie off on roofs?
😂
Do i buy the light or do they buy them?
Ive got a giant house ive gotta do today, plus clean gutters as well. I wonder how much i should charge??? Any answeres
There like 2 times as big as these houses u guys are on
Just letting you know Toyota makes more money than ferrari as a car selling company lol

I believe you end on females. Females will always be the ones feeding power while the males should be the ones that get the power.
where do i buy the lights because im in the uk
I'm not in the UK so i wouldn't know. I went to lightsatwholesale.com
How do you calculate how many ft you’re gonna use so you can tell the price for the costumer before you do it ?
The way that I've found works best (at least for me) is looking up the house on Google earth and you can calculate the ft on there
Google earth measure function

you should go way more in detail and show how you actually do it.
Got a new one coming out soon!
I usually like your videos but not everyone can do this bro come on, it’s dangerous you need a scissor lift etc
At least insurance, someone can get hurt like this
Whoops didn’t show my scissor lift on camera!
