I bought that exact same Chloe bag years ago as one of my first designer bags. And also realized it did not suit my lifestyle. It is beautiful, but too heavy and bulky for my life in a city where I walk most places. So I sold her and bought the small Chloe Marcie. I LOVE it. But totally understand holding onto bags. I still have my first LV Speedy 30, and its too big but I keep it because I use it once in a while and holds sentimental value.
Thanks for sharing! Great call to switch out your Chloé bag, it's indeed not a great bag to walk around with all day. I hope I can get more use out of it now that I'm traveling by car. I also find it hard to let go as it was my first bag and I got it for a great price. But enjoying a more suitable size would of course make more sense in the long run! 😂

I would like to try out Demellier although I have heard good things about Strathberry and have not heard of the other brand you mentioned. Yes a lot of designer brands are raising their prices to ridiculous amounts. The JW Anderson Pierce bag is SO cool. Agreed this YSL is gorgeous but the prices are insane. TBH I get tired of the all the main stream designer bags. I mean how many time can you look at them plus the prices. Super interesting video, loved this 👍☺and new friend here, excited to see more. 😍

But I feel like a lot of things just go on repeat, the 17th LV Speedy of the season can be pretty, doesn’t make me feel very inspired.
I haven’t heard anyone mention Aigner for such a looonng time. I have one - used to be called Etienne Aigner - from 36 years ago. There hasn’t been a lot of new designs that excite me either. Nowadays, I’m more keen to look into the various luxury brands’ iconic models with new iterations, such as the use of different materials, exotics, colour way, arty prints and embellishments, etc. You will reach 1K very soon, Lo! 🎉
I think they still call it Etienne Aigner outside of Europe! 😄 I really try to avoid duplicates, but I get your strategy, the classic always work, and you've added some amazing pieces recently! 😍 But there's still a lot of classics for me to venture into!

Totally agree with you on the Marc Jocobs brand , seen that Tote bag everywhere. They are very practical, well made and pack a bunch, but I'm over them. Same with YSL and Givenchy.
