As much as I love all of illiminate, Vu’s probably my favorite dude to watch right now because his build’s so relatable. Man doesn’t have a lot of money and balling on a budget trying to chase and build his dreams. And he’s been doing all the work on his car himself. Mad respect to you man.

What’s up vu, you need a cutting polish with a cutting pad.. then when you’re done with cutting polish you put wax on top to protect it. You’ll get rid of bumps, swirls with cutting polish

Spraying the bumper with more coats won’t help cause the thicker it is the easier it is to chip.

Pro....well, experienced tip. If you're wetsanding and the residue is white, then you know you have enough clearcoat. You never wanna see the color of your car in the residue, unless you're using single-stage. And using a sander like that should produce good results since it's oscillation and vibration is much higher than DA sanders. And for clearcoat, you wanna make sure you get one with a hardener. The hardener is what makes the clearcoat more durable.
That said, your paint job came out great for the amount of work you put into it. Definitely more patience than me when I did rattle can. Keep up the good work.

Hey man, go get you some lake & country foam pads, and griots fast correcting Cream or Rupes pads. Meguiars microfiber cutting pads are great too. Super soft polishing and compound pads are amazing. Notice if you watch your video that the polisher isn’t even spinning, therefor you’re not even doing anything, just spreading the “wax” around. Make sure to not out a lot of pressure on the polisher and have the right size pad on your backing plate. So 5” backing plate, get a 5.5” pad. Car came out nice though and I hope my information helps you out homie. You guys keep up the great work

Here's some tips for polishing your car
-Rubbing Compound first then Wax.
Btw Not Bad Vu, your 240sx becomes greater and better!
use the tool lightly vu. So that it can rotate well and it will make that sick car a sick shine for sure! Keep on learning vu!

you gotta get yourself some sort of sanding block for when you sand and always try to stay consistent with sanding movements when you do so, so everything can stay even and goooooood
One thing to watch with wet sand, is when you see the water changing color you have cut through the clear coat and are into the paint.

If i could suggest something that I’ve learned is to use a dual action hand sander with a compressor with 2000 grit dry then 2500 or 3000 wet , some Miguirres ultimate compound with a soft pad and it’ll be perfect !

Harbor freight DA polisher with some decent cutting pads and compound...Griots, Meguiars are available at autozone. Try this before waxing.

You should try using a clay bar for your hood. Then use spray wax to give it the finishing shine

just a tip theirs different grits of compounds like sandpaper, so make sure u dont get anything thats too aggressive and will f*** up ur paint, car looks great tho man keep doing what u doing 👍🏼👍🏼

If youre sanding and see blue, means clearcoats not there and the sun will eat at the paint. Gotta sand and see grey/white residue.
