26 makes your upper thighs look better. You have a trim nice figure. The 26 enhances that while the 25 just looks tight and uncomfortable.

Yes they look virtually the same! I have a question, do you wash new denim (one time, gentle cycle, inside out) before wearing them?
Usually I don't, I will wear for as long as I can before washing them.

I simply couldn’t bear to wear one pair of pants for a month. It would be like mental agony. What size did you go with? I preferred the 26 on you for the thigh area. It looked sleeker and less compressed. Also, kid it’s still so hot out in the Midwest. How will you stand black jeans thru it all. You may regret your date choice. Best of luck E.W.
It's great breathable fabric so I feel comfortable in the heat. I started with the 26 but not going with the 25 as they stretched so much. Thanks for your comment!!

I work at a boutique in Cincinnati (Idlewild Woman) and that’s all we carry. I tend to go with the tighter fit, but I’m more of an hourglass figure so I get the gapping in the back unless I get them snug.
Yea, that makes sense. I'm the opposite as a rectangle, fits me amazing everywhere else but tight in the waist :-(

Not wash at all? Do you do any outside work? Your children touch you? 25 looks too tight. 26 look great. Gee I just looked up your jeans and those are way to much money. I only buy second hand so maybe I am just too cheap but no, just no.
I remember the first time I tried skinny stretch denim, I was so surprised that it looked good on me. It was also very versatile and comfy enough to wear to school. I quickly learned to buy one size smaller because if often stretched out quickly. It this case though, I would go for the bigger size to test and see if the jeans hold up, sort of like an experiment 😁 I think you look great in both.

Sorry for the delay Charlene! I am going to do it, I just haven't been able to finish the work sheet to go with it. My current plan is for not this Sunday but the 29th. So hopefully will make that happen.

I would say the 26. First because they are more comfy. I think I could tell they also flattered the area where your thighs connect to your pelvis/hips…what the heck is that called. The only question is…will they stretch out? If they have a tendency to do that, perhaps the 25. I know, I’m absolutely no help. Lol.

Curious to see how these work. I have Mother “The Looker”, size 25, and I have had them for 5 years. They seem like they are not as flattering the past two years. May be the stretch in them. The 26 will stretch, so I would suggest the 25.
I’m on the fence with whether I will buy Mother again.
Thank you Joelle! Yea Mother denim is a tricky one. In the past the ones I've bought always slide down. But these ones being made primarily out of modal and only a tiny bit of polyester have been great.
Emily..My thought: Comfort comes first. I'm not a tight pants kinda woman (may an age thing). But you can wear either size..but I'd vote for the 26!! Question: Do you "freeze" the jeans after a few days, since you don't want to wash them?
I've never tried it. I will steam or spray it with antibacterial fabric spray if it takes in smells like smoke, etc. But I'm super worried as fabric doesn't hold germs/bacteria for very long.

The 26.. although if you feel like the 25 will give some then maybe the 25. As a mom myself with small kids your sons age, I’d go with the 26, I need comfort and movement from the jump (even though I appreciate some fitted denim).

The right size depends on the percentage of stretch. I’ve got Levi’s with 0/2/14% elastan and the appearance and confort change a lot, making me fluctuating in a range of three sizes.

Oooh, it’s a dilemma! I think the bigger size looks better, and they’ll be more comfortable. They will probably stretch a bit, but I think they’ll still look good! Trying to be the voice of reason here but it’s difficult.🤣 I mean, the smaller ones look good too, but maybe bit snug. You need to be comfortable for a whole month soooooo…..;
