Thanks! In hind sight it wasn't too bad. There's just one nut behind the engine that was a pain to get off. I think the engineer who designed that knew it was his last day on the job.

Thank you for this video, I got my heater core out today. Mine is a 1998 Ranger, but everything was the same. Mine has a V8 transplant and that made the one behind the "valve cover" a major pain.

Glad this video was helpful! What V8 do you have strapped in there?

@ValleyMobileAutomotive I was told that the V8, transmission, and trasfer case were all pulled from a 97 Explorer. However, I think the transfer case is actually from an f150. All that transplant happened before I acquired it.

@ValleyMobileAutomotive Great Video and very helpful! I have the exact same model. Question, where do you get the online service manual from? It would come in handy. Thanks!

I have a 95 and I for the life of me cannot see the stud behind the valve cover. I replaced the EGR tube awhile ago and cannot remember if I saw one there

It's a booger to get to. It's about mid engine on the firewall. You can see it from the passenger side of the engine compartment.
