Nykaa only promotes their own brand and expensive brands like Huda. I have so many makeup lover friends and none of us care about Nykaa or Huda beauty.
I did notice Nykaa & HB a lot on their popular page!
Nykaa also only accepts and publishes positive reviews. I wrote negative reviews on Bobbi Brown and some other products, they never got published. I wrote again and same whereas they always publish my positive reviews. This is how they dupe people into buying trashy products, including their own brand. Never trust the reviews on Nykaa and always google.
Exactly.... Sick of their promotions, like really dude give us a break ! Moreover products of Nykaa's inhouse brand are not that good as well.

Nykaa initially gave alot of hope and excitement being a unique platform for us Indians to explore the brands. But later realized that its all about PR activities, over hyped in their social media handles and influencing "influencers" too much, which always make me go back to Myntra, Flipkart or amazon to choose my prods (available) which feel good to me and reviewed by vloggers like you and Shweta

I Loooove this video ! Nykaa has weird swatches of their lipstick shades and it’s sooo annoying when the shade that you receive is TOTALLY different from what you expected! Also their ratings are just weird. And my reviews never get submitted I don’t know why. So I think nykaa does manipulate quite some stuff on their website. But needless to say, it is one of the best makeup websites with proper packaging and delivery I rely on that and order ! Please do more videos like these, you look STUNNING with the bold lips and eyes !

A lot of ratings on Nykaa are fake. There were products that had hundreds of ratings but not even a single review. This manipulates the customer into thinking a product is very popular when in reality it's not.
You're right. I've seen repetitive comments in the review section. Like it says 20 reviews but only 10 of them are original and other 10 are the same ones. I don't understand what is nykaa up to.
Yeah. I can name a few such brands :
1.Gorgio Professional
2. St.Botanica
3.Nourish vitals
All the products from these brands have almost 5 stars ratings and all are rated by 300+ people. None of these brands are remotely popular. And if you read the reviews.. anyone can make out that all the reviews have similar sentence framing structure..hence fake. They are into some serious shady business. I even called them out for this on their youtube channel twice. Both the times I got a computer generated reply .
true.. i think people only write review for reward points.. regardless giving true info they give false hopes to others..useless...
@@RiYa-et2fy Please don't buy products from the seller embryos overseas, st botanica and nourish vitals are their brands. They contact people with top reviewer ranking, send money to their bank account and get fake verified purchase review. There are many companies following the same tactics, especially on amazon. If you find detailed and lengthy five-star reviews you know it's fake.
This is true. As a person who was paid for reviewing products on some websites, they're fake! Most of them haven't even bought those products in their life.
Hi Jovi...u need to put a disclaimer in the beginning about the edit coz most of severe migraine patients and epileptic patients can trigger a sudden attack so it's mandatory to include a disclaimer for flash photography or flash or shakky edits ..many RUclipsrs are using this disclaimer ..of course u know, but iam just reminding coz I take epileptic drugs.
I also think that sound at the beginning is very loud and jarring. 😭

I found your channel few days back & i am in love. I love nykaa as a shopping website but i really think that their products are over rated and expensive. Also i compared the prices of few products b/w nykaa and mytra and surprisingly the price at mytra is low including tax . So please check every where and then spend your money girlies.
I even have a Doubt Whether the Nykaa Products are Goood .. I even don’t believe the reviews in the app and also the “Reviews” that these Indian Resident Bloggers Tell cuz All are Sponsored and also All products from their PR ... I still don’t believe and Can’t Believe.. Thank GOD for this video.. Plzz doo loads of Reviews on Make Up Available in India or Available in NYKAA.. Cuz here Nykkaa literally shovels the products to all the bloggers here and Dunno whom to believe..

What I love about you is that you do not shy away from criticising Nykaa which differentiates you from other Indian bloggers! (Except Shweta,stacey,shalini,who are also very genuine). No other youtuber talks much about the demerits of Nykaaa products which is quite disheartening! I like nykaa as a shopping website but definitely not as a brand! Btw which brush did you use for your foundation?

Jovi you need to try the Nykaa GlamorEyes coloured kajals . They are so pigmented and creamy and smudge proof . Plus they make a nice navy blue which is hard to find these days . Most companies only make that electric blue eye pencil for some reason .
Also their cookie crumble nail colours are pretty. Was pleasantly surprised by Nykaa :)
