Dude, what's magical is that somehow you got this done on a night it wasn't raining. How's that, it's been raining everyday? 😋 Can't believe I haven't done any of these over the years yet ....
I've been to Vancouver twice in December, and haven't really done any of this. I'll be there again in a couple months. Hopefully I won't screw up again.
I would like to add the Heritage Christmas in the Burnaby Village Museum to the list. Admission price is free. This village museum preserves 1920s buildings dressed in Christmas decorations and staff dressed in period costumes. At night, there's lights displays.
I'm in Vancouver right now. I'm going back to my country on January 30. I've been checking on places to go like Sea to the sky or Night market on Richmond and I find out that they're closed during winter 😭 thank u for this Top 5 :,)
The sea to sky gondola isn’t closed for winter. There was an incident earlier this year where someone sabotaged it by cutting the cable. It’s just down for repairs this season unfortunately
a tip for anyone wanting to go to the xmas market, it's cheaper to go before 2 ($8 entrance fee), or else I think it's about $15. However, you won't get to experience the xmas lights as it looks better at night.
Is it usual to charge for admission to Christmas Markets in Canada? In the UK and Europe, it's usually free... BTW I was in Vancouver first week of November and it stayed dry most of the week I was there !
I can't speak for all of Canada, but the main markets in and around Vancouver almost all charge and admission. I don't necessarily agree with it, as you're spending money inside; but regardless it's a must see! Like I said, their website often has deals and promos on admission.
1: Don’t visit Vancouver in Christmas 2: Don’t visit Vancouver 3: It’s boring and no I’ve lived in billion places and not everywhere is boring 4. Homeless people everywhere? Yes 5. Do not waste money and time to visit Vancouver
now I wanna go to Vancouver!!!
Haha it’s so awesome man; love it :)
dont forget to check out east hastings!
When you go to Vandusen, you have a free tix for Bloendel Conservatory which is a must visit as well!!
