    I think you will find that the weight of his culture and ancestors is what carries Stan. Māori people do. not sing their own praises, they let their efforts speak for them and leave others to make praise. Stan is an extremely humble person who is honoured by the culture that carries him 🤎❤

    Wow. You just put your finger right on it. The reason why I’m absolutely addicted to this song and ever since I heard it a couple of weeks ago, I have played it on repeat and hear it in my sleep, it is a message of hope and oneness!! Hope for a more loving world is what keeps me going. All the people who are obsessed with this song have that one thing in common, we all believe in LOVE and HOPE. This song makes me want to go to New Zealand and sit with the Indigenous people and learn about culture and oneness with the land. This song is also bringing up ancestral memories within us. To a time when we were one with the land and life wasn’t about the acquisition of wealth. It runs deep and stirs our souls. I can’t wait to see this movie either. Love to you all from Australia. Side note, I saw Stan perform at our local Christmas carols many years ago and he was amazing back then ❤️❤️❤️

    It's beautiful to see you understand Stan's nervousness on this world stage, he is humble with everything he does because of our ancestors and Ae (Yes) he carries his culture and entire Maori heritage with every performance and interaction hence the nerves til he sings - then he is in his element and exudes what is needed for his ahua, wairua and Mana to reach all who resonate with his musical creations. Stan remains grounded in being Maori, staunch to his culture and a beacon for his people.

    I thoroughly enjoy watching your reactions to Stan and our Haka. As you know Stan is a professional performer capable of singing and uplifting our culture, he would not be relying on the setup of sound equipment etc he will rise above the failing of the equipment so that the sound in the background remains in the background. I love watching you and your cultural ahua (life essence) resonate with ours and you totally get it - Sound issues aside the words were Stan's reply to what he received from watching Origin, and Stan's humility, Mana (Pride), Wairua (Spirit) and Aroha (Love) for our ancestors who went before us and paved the way is very relevant and real for Maori, and too African Americans, Native Americans, Aborigines, so many indigenous ethnicities I am and Origin have reached out and blessed us all. Thank you

    I am relieved to hear that you credit God for this beautiful outcome. And I'm sure you will agree that Stan is God's little boy who God is using to share His Divine Love and Compassion with the world, and what a flawless choice God has made to represent His voice. I being a Maori boy with a heart that belongs to God, and a love for all irrespective of race, color, religion, country, am extremely humbled by our beautiful little Brother Stan's sincere willingness to serve God in the best way he can, and it's overwhelmingly emotional to witness. Stan's devotion to God through his love for Jesus is incomparably inspiring to say the least.
    Overflowing with gratitude. An insignificant musician and composer all my life, fills me with immeasurable admiration for this rare example of perfection I have been blessed to witness.
    And I am a big fan of yours too good buddy.
    Always In Divine Friendship

    No matter how many times I view this video, I learn so much. Like the line he sings Baptize in fire with lions in the ring. This speaks volumes. In today's world not only do we stay true to our beliefs, we do it with all the negativity and trials we face out in the open. But our faith stays true in our deliverance, that God will be with us throughout everything, delivering us to a higher standard, level, and victory!! Anyway this is what I got from the video. God bless you and your endeavors. Stay true brother and much respect. ❤❤

    I'm sure they were not playing his recorded vocals - just a backing track. It's just that the sound wasn't great; it wasn't a professional musical set up at all. But for me, I still love listening to this performance by Stan. The skill and the wairua still come through so strongly. 😀

The video isn't the best quality but whoa does he shine .... I love it in the video when there is a public announcement for a missing 15 year old boy, Stan tells him to get his bumbum back where it belongs🤣💖ruclips.net/video/_T3IgL87Zeg/видео.htmlsi=W88f8dRhprXBoOp3

    • @errolsteadfast
      @errolsteadfast  7 месяцев назад +1

      I think it's because he didn't have an earpiece to hear the music and he was waiting to hear it from the speakers rather than it being perfectly synced because he could hear it clearly.

      @@errolsteadfast you’re right they didn’t do a very good job with the sound and it probably did throw him off at the start. Despite that his voice transcended all the glitches it’s one of the best renditions I’ve seen him do live. Pretty sure the lead vocals were not in the music mix. He deviated from the recorded lead vocal melodies and the 'normal' melodies were not there in the background. This was not a televised performance; it's just a very down-home, non-professional set up in a conference room at the Women in Power summit in LA.
