That's a very broad statement though, technically many mostly harmless things could be considering poisoning peoples, plants or animals.
For example, if I take a boat with a gas powered motor onto a lake then I'm technically poisoning the fish, plants, insects, microbes, etc that inhabit the lake and surrounding area but to a mostly harmless extent.
There's obviously gotta be limits and simply making "poisoning the environment" illegal without allowing some leeway is completely nonsensical and would infringe on peoples rights, destroy the economy and completely upend our entire way of life forcing everyone to live primitive lifestyles in poverty with absolutely no modern luxuries. Which may be fine with a small radical minority but us normal people would never accept it. 😂

Once an assault weapons ban is approved, it isn't very difficult to move on to the next step of regulating all semi automatic firearms, it's not difficult to move to the next step of what caliber is allowed to be used. Politicians have already began using the term "sniper rifles" for simple bolt action rifles. It's not hard for gun grabbing politicians to make up things that sound scary to push an agenda on those who don't know any better, and it's always in the name of "your safety". I wish he would change his view to not sign such a bill if it came in the future. As long as we have the 2nd amendment or an unrestricted 2A(which it's not), the 2nd amendment is like a safety net from the government becoming too tyrannical. The 2nd amendment allowing for people to have the same weapons of war that the military uses is a deterrent from members of the government to exert force over the people to make them do what the government wants, opposed to being free to do what one wants. I have been following his campaign a few days, and I like him because even though I don't share his opinion on some issues, he can make a nuanced argument and appears to have considered his stances based on personal conviction and life experience, as opposed to the normal canned rhetoric. If my dad and my uncle had both been shot to death, I might be a little flaccid on 2a myself. Maybe I'm reaching, but I bet he might concede that any weapon they want to ban should be banned outright--like the state can't have it either. Most of his positions have a running theme, trying to the best of our ability to prevent unnecessary death and misery. That is a position with which I'm able to empathize, knowing full well that the road to hell is paved yadda yadda. I'll probably vote for him on his foreign policy alone, because since there will likely not be a Galt-Friedman ticket next year, he is currently my next best choice.
