The whole ‘mascaragate’ thing cracks me up. I remember when companies would advertise mascara on TV and in magazines etc with a full false strip lash on the model 😅 and it was SO obvious. It then dawned on me that most of the people upset by what happened on tiktok weren’t alive/old enough to know or remember that hahah

I bought the single shadow in Nude Glow after I saw your recommendation and I’m OBSESSED! I feel like so many of my palettes lack the perfect shimmer for my lid and this has filled that void!
Same. I bought nude glo. I always refer to these videos for shade matches bc I wear the same shade in every foundation. I don't have to guess when I go buy foundation. 😊

I love Catrice makeup I recently was in Germany/Europe and the drugstore in Germany had everything Catrice and I went haywire! they have a new face serum foundation which is amazing! I contacted Catrice and it will be avail in September. Jessica, I have the Maybelline eyeshadow because of you and I use it on those when you want simple/minimal makeup! Thanks love this video!

Hi Jess, YES Some of these products are oldies but goodies. Especially the nude glow shadow and another was called the glow down which was a dupe for a high-end highlighter too, people were using both of these shades as a highlight back then. I think you would love elf dirty talk lipstick.
Catrice concealer beats every high end and drugstore concealer I’ve tried! It’s just absolute perfection, gives a bit of a glow, moisturizers, good coverage, stays put. Love.

I agree that the Loreal Lumi Glotion is beautiful. I appreciate that its in a tube instead of a doe foot. It makes it easier to mix with other products and it so smooth to apply!

Like that one other person said (Kayleigh 83), I came here to recommend this! I have Dirty Talk and Effortless, and I personally like Effortless more, but maybe Jessica would prefer Dirty Talk...it's a bit closer to that "Your lips, but better" shade she mentioned!
The Catrice True skin bumped the newish Lancome Tent Idole concealer from my HG concealer. I love it for my dry, mature skin. I love the matching foundation too.
The blush from physicians formula looks amazing.
You all must try Sterling Greige in the Maybelline single shadows. Not sure if they have the shade at target but definitely drugstores like CVS…it is SO GOOD!! 😊
Happy to hear Maybelline Vinyl Ink in COY getting some love. Everyone online is loving the Vinyl Inks but have been overlooking COY. If I could only have one lip color/product it would definitely be COY. My 2nd choice would be NARS Powermatte lipstick in American Woman.

I also have similar coloring to you (brown hair, hazel eyes, fair/light skin) so I love hearing your makeup recommendations because I'm more confident that they will look good on me too. Dirty Talk is the color you need in that e.l.f. lipstick. It is a neutral pink. My personal favorite is Drive, which is the perfect 90's brown. 😊

Literally had to go grab my makeup revolution cream bronzer and smell it! Never realized it smelled like pineapple! I have a very similar skin tone to you... For whatever reason I got medium? Maybe ordered wrong color, but I just use the tiniest bit and it looks really good! I love it!
The Maybelline eyeshadow on Amazon goes between $8 to $18 😮 Ever since you recommended the Dusty Rose shade I can’t find it in stores. I’ve had the Nude Glow for months and I love it. We need part two of your drugstore favorites now 😊

I love the maybelline single eyeshadows. Nude glow reminds me of my favorite and cult favorite nutty from wet n wild and honestly I love both. I also love the glow down from maybelline single eyeshadow it’s a light yellow gold and I think it’s beautiful ❤❤❤

@@wendybrown500 the nude glow is a bit lighter and a pinch pinker the nutty. Just in case that may make a difference. But then again, I don’t think you’d buy two of the same shade, they’re just very similar but side to side nude glow From maybelline is a tad lighter and a pinch pink when compared side to side
I put my sister into the glow down shade and it’s amazing for tan skin looking for a highlight. I love it!

I love those elf lip sticks! So far my favorite color is “dirty talk.”
I thought I would share what is working for my mature skin (60). I absolutely love the way my skin looks!! I start out with the Elf Liquid Filter, then the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator, with the NYX Bare With Me concealer. For powder, it's the Elf Halo Glow powder! If I need a primer, I'll use the Elf Power Grip primer, and sometimes fill in my pores on my nose with the Elf poreless putty primer. These products beat out high end products as well!!

I purchased Dusty Rose on your recommendation and I use it DAILY. It’s usually the only shadow I’m using. Sometimes I put a bronzer in the crease, but usually I just apply Dusty Rose with my finger. Love it!

For the elf lipstick.... The most popular shade when it first launched is called DIRTY TALK! OMG try it!!! It's the perfect nude pink color and we all know how much everyone loves that lip color. That was the most popular shade when it first came out and the first shade that I bought. It's beautiful!!

Not makeup related but I’m obsessed with the Target men’s crew neck T-shirts by Oddfellows. I like that the fabric is a little thicker than the ladies options and they’re a little longer (I can’t do cropped/shorter tees).

I bought and fell in love with every product I've tried from this video so far! The Maybelline single shadow in Nude Glow, the Maybelline Vinyl Ink in Cheeky and the Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Pink Sand. ALL are fabulous!!! We need part 2!!!

There is quite of few products at the drugstore that have been around for awhile but are still some of the best products out there. I adore the CoverGirl single shadows, they're similar to the Maybelline single shadows.

I have the same exact skin tone as you (also use the elf beige foundation 😂not sure how that is light enough for my skin tone but it works!) and I just got the elf satin lipstick in color “dirty talk”. It’s a very neutral/natural color for my skin tone, and is just really good for a natural look in everyday wear. Definitely recommend you checking that shade out if your looking for more shades to match your skin tone
Your OG for the Maybelline shadows was actually Nude Glow. Because I picked that one up on your recommendation YEARS ago.

On your recommendation, I tried the Loreal Pore Minimizer primer. I have never liked primer. It just has not worked for me. This one worked REALLY well. Thank you for the recommendation. Changed my routine and my look.

Definitely need a part two. I think I might be the only one who doesn't like the maybelline vinyl ink. It feels too sticky for me. Unpopular opinion, but I prefer a good matte liquid lip.

Try Dirty Talk in the Elf Oface. You might like that one!!! I absolutely love the Vinyl lip cheeky and coy are my faves but I get compliments all the time with the color wicked. ❤

My fav for a bold red is the Maybelline superstay matte inks. I have dancer off of Jessica's rec a long time ago which is a warm red and Pioneer which is a blue toned red. I know some people don't like those and I wouldn't wear them everyday but for the handful of times I want to wear a red throughout the year I love them and don't have to babysit my lips when eating or drinking!

I love the Maybelline Vinyl Ink. You are so right, they last a long time. My lips don't get that weird wearing down, goopy, cuts type of wear. I've worn it for 5-6 hours and they still look good.

Hi Jessica. This past January I had 3 people in my family pass away (Uncle, Cousin and Mother-in-law). I picked up one shade Cheeky in the Maybelline superstay vinyl link cause I wanted something that wasn’t going to transfer and also last on my lips. It worked perfectly and I have since purchased 3 more shade. I myself detest a tacky feeling on my lips, but this is only a little tacky when I first put it on and that goes away. I look forward to seeing your Amazon makeup favourites!
P.S. Elf O Face Lipstick Dirty Talk is my favourite but hard to get in store, the day I finally got mine it was the last one on the peg 😊

I am very happy that you are so keen on Catrice concealer. It’s a German, cruelty brand, sold at the drugstore but rivaling high end products in my opinion. It’s from Cosnova, where even essence belongs to.
By the way: it’s 4,25 EUR in Germany.
