@@frankblakley8249 Going off the queue time chart published on the Overwatch blog, Damage players created 5v5 by filling their role 3-4x more than the other roles, thus offsetting their own queue times to an unacceptable degree. 5v5 remedied this by only requiring the matchmaker to find two tanks per match as opposed to four (tank being the least filled role on average throughout both games' lifespans), which thusly allows around twice the amount of matches to simultaneously run as before. Sadly, it brought the side effects of tank being a much more pressure-inducing, rigid and generally less fun role to play, but the change has largely made the game more healthy. Anyone who remembers having to sit in queue for around 10 minutes just to play a normal game of quickplay, even during peak hours, should definitely prefer the way things are now.

AN IDEA for 6v6 OW (Team Tank composition Curses): make it so that if one team has more than 2 tanks, (3,4,5) that team's tanks gain a weakness like a curse, like a reduction of -8%-10%-15% (to Life, Shield, or Shield duration, or cc duration) for that team's tanks or -8%-10%- 15% to their spells or attacks. Use curses as a way to balance certain over meta builds, or certain team comps that require a nerf. Maybe use it only on pros league. The curse could also apply to shields, or armor, for the tanks instead of life. Maybe apply the curse to -20% shield time duration. (Maybe apply a particular weakness to each tank depending on their strength).
