I agree 100%. I replaced the little rope with a bit of free IKEA nylon cord (at the IKEA exit). I hung it from the showerhead. I charge it once a month, and I've never had the battery go low.
On the bottom it specifies the battery size as 2600mAh. To compare the JBL go 3 has a 750mAh battery. On my Android phone it also shows the battery percentage.
Bought mine yesterday and I think it’s brilliant for the bathroom. Sound is very good. Not as good as my portable Bose but that was a lot more expensive 😂. Might get another for when I’m on BBQ cooking duties. Well worth the money
What kind of Bluetooth do they have? ..I couldn't find it in the documents/specification. Hopefully its over 5.0 cause I'm planning to use them in pair for a desktop situation.. I appreciate your colour combination yellow+red, and the video of course...
You can see battery level on Android phone. For some reason Apple does not support standard Bluetooth battery level reporting, only for their own devices.
Not sure what you mean by electrocution hazard. It's charged at 5V, this is not dangerous unless your charger malfunctions (though I have not seen even the cheapest chargers do that).
Are they really stereo or double mono?? You can test this with the song One from Metallica (album version 7:24 min). At the begin of the song you can hear a helicopter going from left to right speaker. If it's double mono, you will just hear the helicopter at the same time from both speakers.
Dunno if you’ve solved that problem but if you haven’t, google how to reset it and just reset one of them to default, after, pair them as stereo again. It worked for me
I've bought it today and it's not loud enough by far. I paired it with my laptop. Bring it back next week. It's a pity because it's a nice small size.....
Yeah, this wont be ear bleedingly loud (due to physics) but its perfect for its designed for, personal (shower) speaker. If you want more power they do a larger Vappeby which will be louder as its physically bigger.
Thank you for your reply. I knew before buying it wouldn't be extremely loud, but still this was below my expectations. Maybe I bought a faulty one? I liked the small size thus a larger Vapperby is no option. I just now found a seller who offers a Eneby bluetooth speaker powered by the AAA batteries. The older speaker with the cork. I'm going to pick it up this evening at the sellers house.

Ha ha. I use mine for EXACTLY that. Take it out and bbq with it. 👍🏻
I bought 3 as I knew even if they were half decent I’d want more than 1. Enjoy.
Perfect podcast speaker for bedside listening

The battery level does appear on my iPhone ✨🙌🏽
If the charging port doesn't have a cover, can't water get into the port and become a potential electrocution hazard when charging it..?
Not sure what you mean by electrocution hazard. It's charged at 5V, this is not dangerous unless your charger malfunctions (though I have not seen even the cheapest chargers do that).
Can you make another video with both speakers playing studio sound together? It’s not working for me

Stereo.
@@MainCave Wow, that is a surprise! You better not be lying because now I will buy them!
I love Ikea
I got 2 of those, connected to my phone as stereo, but now after couple days I can't connect them as stereo anymore.. any idea what could be wrong?
I don’t know what could be wrong but have you tried repairing them?

@@saviouratteporattepor6958 I solved the problem, all good now!
Great video! Thank you 👍
LOVE the Optimus Prime!!!!
£10 now. I wish IKEA would produce a Bluetooth subwoofer to go with these.
blimey, £12 was a bargain.

Yeah my smartphone is louder than this speaker.
it sounds so harsh, I don't like it one bit but it's 10 euro so can't expect much from it.
It’s a shower radio at best and a cracking price at that
