At 5:29, after i pressed on that scatter paint the mountain didnt turn blue right away like yours and a window popped up that said Scatter Performance optimization: Scatter create 12861 to 16384 instance (approximati... with a tick on a box that said "Use Proxy" Displayed Instances in % 100 OK Cancel I had no idea what this does, do you have a clue on what it is?

When scattering the trees, a window saying scatter performance optimization appeared and the "asset browser" buttons next to scatter, scatter paint and snap asset, are greyed out and inactive. When using the scatter paint, the terrain itself disappears and blender calls a missing attribute within the python code for the Bagapie addon. Any ideas?
Try to apply the scale of the terrain and the tree, then try scatter paint again, I showed how to scatter obejct with GeoNodes here ruclips.net/video/gHSxy76yz0s/видео.html

Hola, El shader editor es para crear tu propio material, editando y agregando nodos, texturas etc, el asset browser ya tiene assets hechos ya sea por ti o por otra persona, modelos o materiales, para agregar un material a asset browser tienes que crearlo en shader editor y click derecho en el material y "Mark as asset"
Love the video man! I’m having an issue with this add-on causing lag any time I try to change the parameters in the properties of the landscape. Any ideas on how I can resolve that issue?
When I press F9, it doesn't re-open the properties. Any other way to open the properties? I've used my keyboard, and my MacBook built in keyboard, nothing works, anyone know how to fix?
It seems that F9 works only when we accidentally click outside the properties panel, If we transform the mesh in any way or go into edit mode, there's no way to re-open it, just start again, when we click outside the panel we are accepting those values.

@chuckcg es que trabajo en un juego que usa nodos especificos del shader para exportar desde el blender y no son compatibles la mayoría de los nodos shader de blender. De ahí lo de buscar una alternativa en GN. Es un juego de rally antiguo.

I'm new to Blender. I've been able to import other files before, but cannot figure out how to import the TXA Landscape. Can you assist with this please?
You need to install the TXA landscape addon in blender, the link is in the description, just download the zip file from github, to install it go to file/preferences/addons/ click the arrow on the right upper corner and install from disk, select the zip file you downloaded.
Great vid! A question not related to this, though...do you know of anyway to import a .rvt file into Blender? I was given a rvt model by an architect firm, but I have no way of using it. I've looked for online converters, but none work for this Autodesk stuff.

I think it will use proxies for the viewport, maybe is too dense, depends of the size of the terrain
I followed all the instructions but my 4k textures still looked blurry/stretched on the terrain? any reasons as to why this would be? :P

Yes that happens in some parameters, just try to write the new value and hit enter.

Hi, great tutorial! Actually looks very realistic :) . But I can't make the trees to get straight with align normal slider, they just lay on the side.
Try to apply the rotation of the tree, select it, press control A apply rotation

Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the issue for me if anyone may have it fyi.
Make sure to use txa in 4.2 or 4.3, for me ANT don't show presets in those versions, only txa

Not TXA Landscape, the one installed is ANT landscape wich doesn't have the presets and we don't have access to the modifiers, but ANT works too
