    Definitely need a few seconds post flow to shield the tungsten after weld termination.

      Yeah he gave some bad advice there. Hence why you see smoke come out of the torch when he terminates his welds.

    Now i have seen a few Videos about Mig Welding. Videos that were Filmed in the US. In every Video you Guys tuned the Mig Machines with Voltage and Wire Speed but not on Current.
    Im from Germany and all the Mig Machines I know are tuned on Amperage and Wire Speed. Quality Machines also have a Voltage Tuner, but only for controlling the Length of your Arc.
    At mine cheap chinese One, I set the Wire Thickness, Current and Wire Speed is automatic. I can also Tune the Voltage a bit for Arc Control.

    How do you do tie-ins on flux-cored?

    • @Ruben901
      @Ruben901 4 года назад +1

      Whenever you stop, grind the stop clean, then start from there (make sure you fuse well). I always grind my tie ins very lightly, and if it looks good, i just buff it.

      В иностранных проектах частенько корень варят TIG, а заполнение покрытыми или как в этом случае порошковой проволокой. Считается что корень чище выполненной сваркой TIG
