i totally got the vibe that there was another person in the room because of the way you angle your body slightly away from the viewer when you’re talking to “erica”. not confusing at all!! i really really loved this video because i would get a whole new wave of tingles when you talk to erica and then another wave when you talk to the viewer. it makes the personal attention feel more natural and realistic!! ☺️
The vast majority of current ASMR gives me no tingles because of how over exaggerated and performative it is, but you constantly knock it out of the park. Love the way you speak and move at a normal, casual pace that feels welcoming and not forced! You're one of the best asmrtists on RUclips!

This may sound strange but I love that you aren’t actually talking directly to us for most of the video. I think it relieves some of the subconscious instinct to pay attention and respond-making this video extra relaxing and perfect for days when my social battery is totally dead!

I really like this, it felt very natural and relaxing since the conversation wasn’t ”with” me, but basically viewer is just hanging around while other people talk which is way more soothing than being another ”character” I think 🤔

the way you talk (the loudness and pace), the soft sound of your shoes, your movements, the hair sounds and off screen sounds, I love it all and I'm so relaxed. I love your choice of not putting your face on camera, I'm sure you're beautiful but it's so relaxing and less distracting to not see someone's face and expressions when I'm watching asmr idk why. all my fave asmrtists have half their face or none of their face showing. It immerses me in the sound and movements so much more

Deliberate efforts to induce ASMR like mouth sounds, finger fluttering etc. gives me the ick and I’ve always wanted something that felt natural. I’m new here. But this brought up a lot of memories for me. My mom is a cosmetologist (retired now). But I remember having similar conversations about hair. Cutting, coloring, other treatments. The sounds and smells. She taught me quite a bit. I absolutely loved having her do my hair. You did a great job replicating how that actually would go, even down to mentioning the smell of the hair dye. Well done!

I love hair asmr, this is amazing! I’ve never actually gotten to goes from any asmr video before sadly but I find them really relaxing, but I remember when I was young and at recess kids would play or brain my hair and that gave my tingles like asmr, although ofc it isn’t the same thing
