Same here, he’s essentially Norm Macdonald if he talked fast. It’s funny though, cause the speed at which he talks completely changes the style of humor imo.
My favorite thing is when Cory describes something just slightly differently so everyone’s confused but I know exactly what he’s talking about. Like the chicken man thing is about norm playing the pigeon in Mike Tyson mysteries
This episode of the podcast is what turned me onto Norm Macdonald who soon after became my favourite Comedian. It hurt so much when Norm died but I'm so thankful that because of Zach I got to enjoy him.
I'm here for this reason.. I'm really glad that my simple search of "Zach Hadel Norm MacDonald", if just immediately showed this. I'd like to hear Zach talk more about Sir. MacDonald
There’s a channel called “I’m Not Norm” that you should binge if you feel like committing suicide by laughter. They’ve got all his best stuff from his whole career
@@BLK_MN I think you mean Fallon, not Kimmel. IIRC the impression was of French Stewart, who was even then not a huge celebrity, a lot of his career is bit parts in comedy movies, but he was on a sitcom called 3rd Rock from the Sun at the time.
I just now realized Cory was talking about norm being colonel sanders in a commercial, this is my like 10th time listening to this. Cory is built different
That piece of background music in the first few minutes used to scare me as a little kid when my parents would put on Mozart CDs to help me fall asleep.
I started watching real rob. I like it, it's interesting to watch more than it is overtly funny. Rob Schneider is completely insufferable in the show and it's his assistant and wife who are pretty likable trying to live around him. He totally nails it being a slightly washed up, annoying star trying to catch a break, in fear of other's success and such. It takes a few episodes and the scenarios there in to find out it's written with self awareness.
IMO Seinfeld is overall the GOAT as far as 3-camera sitcoms are concerned, but it got a little cheesy in its last season or two, just some really cartoonish scenarios and some pretty flat jokes that you could tell needed canned laughter. They could have milked it for many more years if they wanted to, but I think they knew the show wasn't going to be able to keep up the quality much longer with Larry David gone. Ending something before it starts really getting stale is rarely something you see with anything successful in TV or movie franchises, so I respect them doing so.
Steve shives blocked me and I'm willing to bet he's never even seen me before what's the point of Twitter if you block literally everyone except people you want to talk to
They completely missed the point of the coffee scene. The gag is that at the end the barrista and the "other customer" are working together and routinely guilt famous people into tipping more, then split the difference "See you for the next famous person." So actually, Rob is the naive washed up star that is being taken advantage of, as opposed to an asshole. At the very least, when you realise the other guys are running a hustle, you're like "oh, in retrospect, he's kind of justified being a dick to them". He also doesn't brag he's going to go fuck his 29 year old wife, he just says he's going to go hang with her. There's so much salt in this episode.
Ever since Zach brought up how much he loves Norm Macdonald, I now realize how much of his humor is influenced by him
Same here, he’s essentially Norm Macdonald if he talked fast. It’s funny though, cause the speed at which he talks completely changes the style of humor imo.
HOLY SHIT I WAS THINKING THIS EXACT THING, I can relate cause I was influenced him a lot aswell and Real Rob Sneak Peak 2 was so weird and beautiful.
Just watch the world's strongest gamer bit from the jontron game jam video, it rings of Norm
I watched multiple clips of norm joking and i dont get the appeal nor the correlation with zack
R.I.P NORM
My favorite thing is when Cory describes something just slightly differently so everyone’s confused but I know exactly what he’s talking about. Like the chicken man thing is about norm playing the pigeon in Mike Tyson mysteries
Higgins Walsan “slightly differently” also he was talking about the colonel shit for brains
I knew exactly what he was talking about with goanimate but I have no idea how it relates to Norm MacDonald.
prescription damn you went for his life
He literally even said at the end of the clip he meant the kfc colonel
he's so dumb it's infuriating sometimes
Remember when Rob and his wife were on guest grumps?
Kenneth Kay And Arin was going to talk abput Real Rob to him but was cut off by Danny.
i haven't watched since jon left and i genuinly can't tell if this is real or not
Yeah, they actually did do a guest grumps with Rob Schneider and his wife.
joh joh
Arin did a rant about Real Rob and how bad it was and then they had him on Guest Grumps. You should look up the rant, it’s funny.
@@johjoh4571 yes it's real, and Rob doesn't know how to play any video games while his wife CRUSHES at the original Mortal Kombats

Damn… RIP Norm.

The New Norm ain't the same as the old Norm.
Norm on SNL's Jepordy skit was the first time I laughed until it physically hurt.

And Jimmy Kimmel was terrible, nobody laughed. Don’t even know who he was impersonating it was so bad.

I'm so happy you still make these best ofs
The chicken man, that's one of my favorite jokes XD
Jose Usme okay
He does the stand up thing, he does office style cutaway interviews, he talks to the camera in scenes, like pick one!

dogboy0912 but the thing with norm and everything else wrong with it kind of puts you off
Where's the episode when they talk about "its always sunny in Philadelphia?"

What a goon

Real Rob is like watching someone else's shitty fever dream interpretation of a sitcom

Rob Schnieder in: Real Rob!
“From the creators or Dur, and Tum Te Tiddly Tum Te To….”
Bringing up norm mcdonald and then comparing cory to hitler in a joke is some high IQ energy
As someone who owns a fish tank i must say this is accurate
Please takes Zach reccomendation for Norm' killin' it
Look at all Rob's sneak peeks for the show, they're all downvoted to hell lol

Just checked, got me blocked too. What a loon hahaa
Lol Egoraptor had the same reaction as Zach
Cory couldn't have been more confusing
epic win dude
What is the background music?
Mozart's Piano Concerto 21.
Gymopedie 1 Erik Satie
I seen both season. I honestly think that is how Rob is in real life.
does anyone remember the episode where they talked about rob being an anti vacer
I fucking love Cory
I left , watched the clip and came back and I gotta say......hoboy
Rob Schneider's wife actually seems pretty nice if you watch her appearance on GameGrumps
Love Real Rob.....bring the show back
15:46 this sounds like one of shad's drawings
H3 talked about this show on the podcast and said the same things zack said so they probably had a conversation about it
Okay?
@@BlamoStramo 😁
I looked and im blocked by steve shives. What the fuck lol
I had a suspicion that Rob's wife was my age after I heard 29 from this podcast. She's younger than me by VERY little, like a fucking week.
Ethan on h3h3 was just talking about this and mentioned the saturation thing
Norm was probs on the xans in that
funny funny yeag

Hi rob
Good one, Rob
I never knew rob schneider listened to sleepycast
Lol Ron Schneider game gtumos
this whole rant is pretty mean
I'm not sure what this is, wtf. And the voice, not for radio.
??
Its a podcast? They're just online animators talking
Could've done a minimum amount of research. Literally says what it is in the title.
I Really don't get it. whers the video?
