We planted two Mariesii 3 years ago, and though the bushes look healthy, they have never flowered. We are in south central WI and have some cold winters, but they have survived (even the polar vortex from two years ago) without any dieback. I don't know what to do to encourage flowering. I am beginning to wonder if the tags on the bushes were in error, although they were well afixed and the foliage is exactly as you show, as well as the horizontal growth pattern. (I purchased at a Walmart garden center.) Any thoughts? Also, I have not ever pruned them, and they are both 3x4'...Thanks, Dave
I made the mistake of watering my double viburnum too much & killed it. Planted a new one with lots of room to grow, I’m sure my birds will appreciate that I planted them a new one.
Thank you Jeff. You've helped me with plant materials identification for school

Very unique plant
the birds like the berries on this shrub?
Be pretty to lay down as centerpiece for tables or cemetary headstone arranging
Nice voice !
How about deer???
Highly invasive and terrible for the eco system
Thought song birds love it!
