NOT complaining here, but having seen a show at Red Rocks, I sure wish others watching could have seen some panning, the Rocks, the night sky along with the concert on the stage. There is so much more to a concert than just the musicians.
but shit, i am digging the hell out of this since I couldn't make it.
+musicalearth As a video guy, that stuff is really tough without multiple cameras. If you mess up the panning/don't have the right fluid head setup it ruins the whole video. I agree it would have been nice to have some more angles, but that makes the editing time + equipment requirements skyrocket.
What matters most is the sound & this is crisp, clean & bright. Your patch source got it right. Maybe check out some editing softwares like Avidemux (free). After all you took the time & possibly the risk (?) as a "video guy" to record what I consider history. One simple crop to fix & the heavy left side is no longer an issue. Whalla, a solid video is born. Thanks for the share, love these guys, & whatta incredible place to see them.
