I feel so sad when I see these phones. They do look striking, but to whom these phones are addressed to? To me, and many other htc fans, no 3.5 and glass on the back without wireless charging will be main flaws (to me personally glass is BIG NO with or without wireless charging). Add to that 3000mAh and high price tag....who was the target with Barbie and Ken? Is this the phone that should keep htc profitable and fight G6, S8, XZ that all kept 3.5 and all improved sound quality....I am sad and worried.
Goran Petrovic I think this is supposed to contend with the V20 and G6 as it has an 821. HTC better have something up their sleeves with an 835 or else Samsung will dominate again. Although I do agree that it is horrendously overpriced. Especially considering the processor is about to be outdated.
You know why Samsung is on the top? Not bcs it makes better phones, but is the only one that can make properly speced, priced and available everywhere flagship. The only one that makes one model(exynos+SD but the same rest and in the phone present) for all markets, similarly priced. Packed with latest and greatest(even if they are gimmicks, they are present). Why huawei is 3rd? Their phones are far from Sony or htc quality, but Huawei is copying Samsung with same market strategy.

This isn't a SD 835, 4 always on mics are gonna kill the battery along with a bigger screen and secondary display. If this had wireless charging and waterproofing then it'd be competitive for the price but it doesn't. Looks aren't everything, take the pixel for example.
HTC commercials look cheap these days. What happened to your marketing? You had great ads for the M8, A9 and HTC 10 (teaser ads). Just for comparison's sake, check out the Huawei P10 ad. It looks 100x better.
Dân Tộc Người Bông The liquid surface is really pretty and blue and pink are different, but black is too similar to the iPhone which should be getting a jet white option too. In my opinion, the black should be green because that's unheard of and after all, in certain lighting, it looks greenish anyway. Even the white has pink and mint green hues to it sometimes. The design is the main selling point here and it's good but the colors should be different not just executed differently.

I bought this device and I really regret it, mainly because of the surface design which is not a feature, actually this is what makes this phone is really bad. Every time I clean the phone, it takes few seconds to be full of thump prints, also the phone is very slippery because of this surface which is a running risk every second for me. don't tell me to use the body protection because it makes the phone really ugly!

HTC should be aggressive with their marketing I mean if they want people to recognize them they should start with it. All the marketing I see is always LG, Apple, Samsung, Oppo, Huaweii and one plus. This phone is ridiculous because of It's price, I can buy a cheaper phone with the same price and the same design, the same camera and the same experience. If this was on a budget price people would appreciate it.
The front is ugly! no matter what colors at the back, the front still be the black. That's why the commercial only show the back! M9 that I am using is still the best design from HTC.
