Something I appreciate about these two that I haven't seen anyone mention is that both windshields are supposed to be clear, but are coloured to reflect their view. The Benetar's is purple to reflect space, and the Milano's is light blue to reflect the sky (presumably because of the end of Guardians 1 when it takes off on Xandar). The Benetar was incredible in 2021 and I'm so happy that the Milano somehow surpasses it, with so much more interior details as well. Absolutely the best non-modular Marvel set yet.
I appreciate that when you show the second minifig head print, you put the hair piece back on to show how it looks for both sides, I feel a lot of reviewers don’t show the second face with the hair piece and it makes it hard to imagine what it looks like properly, just a little thing but it’s the little things right !
I bought the Benatar because there was no large scale Milano. Now I can finally have a model of my favorite ship. The model is incredible considering how many planes come together so perfectly.
The Milano will always be THE Guardian's Ship. The Benatar is the Guardian's Ship as in "Oh, that's the Guardian's Ship". The Bowie....errrrr let's not talk about that for now. I'm so gonna remove some of the studs on the Milano as soon as I get it. There are so any pieces that can be replaced with tiles!
honestly I kinda only prefer the milano because it also appeared in the game, the benatar is also really slick and cool but the bowie? man that thing is overdone... though I hope that the bowie eventually also gets this infinity saga treatment from lego lol
The Milano was always my favorite Guardians movie ship 💯💯I just love how it looks so awesome without the interior being cramped, I have other guardians other than the OGs so imma have them walking about, so hype!!!
Both of these are Star Lord's ship and yet they both don't even have his iconic helmet. We haven't had a new helmet for him since 2017 (Not counting the What If version).
The Benetar is my favourite Lego set of all time and the set that got me back into Lego so I have so much love for it, however the Milano looks magnificent and definitely has the potential to become my new favourite set. Now we just need Lego to make a larger Bowie in this style because the play set one doesn’t quite satisfy me lol
I think the shaping on the benatar just looks cleaner. And being able to pose it a cool flight angle is nice compared to the Milano. Both look sick together though
I really enjoyed the benatar so I'm really wishing I had the cash for the Milano. Love that they included the 2 mini figs that were missing from the first ship, feels like they're meant to be together
Well, i have both, I got the benatar about 3 weeks ago, and was blown away with it, it displays so well, building it was a pleasure... But 4 days ago i got the Milano, and ffs, was this a piece of amazigness. Building experience was top notch, it looks flawless, it's heavy... what else to say, got it for about 140$ and i dont regret anything. Highly reccomend!
Got the Benatar and The Bowie already and im really looking forward to getting the Milano as well and why do people want an absolutely massive Bowie build the one we've got already is decently big and then we add another 1000 pieces or more on and it's gonna make the Benatar and the Milano look like Star Wars microfighters
Thanks for the review. $180 is a bit steep, especially with only 5 mini figs, but I’ll probably pick it up anyway to complete my GOTG ship set. I do like the interior and the functionality of the wings.
I loved the Benatar/think it is the better ship and it's price was crazy good value, i just waited to long to get it and now it's retired it's not bot too expensive now £160-180 I'd happily pay but with the Milano releasing now i also like the look and it also being £160 i don't know which one to get. I'll end up getting both of them and I'll change them out when displaying them.
I was really disappointed with the Lego ship from G3 considering how good the G2 ship was I mean if marvel had a UCS set the G2 ship would have been the first ship in the collection. That said I have some high hopes for the Milano, it looks like it can be in the same League but we will have to see (disclaimer I don’t care about minifigs in the slightest).
Oh wow they have 2 more now. I have the 2018 thanos ultimate battle 76107 with gamora, star lord, thanos and that sick iron man suit figure. Honestly all 3 are cool and worth it. Definitly the 2024 milano is probably my favourite with the blue as it looks more polished. The 2021 benatar has mantis and a long haired thor. The 2018 one has thanos with all the stones as well as gamora(my fav character) and that amazing iron man figure. Nice comparison! What do you think about the 2018 one?
I don't know if they retired the mold or something, but isn't it weird that they never include the Starlord helmet anymore? Especially for sets from Guardians 1&2
Exactly, as someone who started collecting in 2021 this is a piece I’m begging Lego rereleases eventually but at this point I don’t think they ever will 😢
it's amazing what you can do in the 180€ price range I wish they did more of this the Milano isn't minifigsclae but it's close enough that it could be put in mocs!
Hi im a real Guardians fan but it makes no sens that baby groot is in there because he is only in the ship from the movie vol 2 and that is the ship from movie vol 1 und it got destroyt befor baby groot was ther
Personally i only look at the design because the IP holds no interest for me. And as such, I find the Benatar's design to be more esthetically pleasing.
the benatar ran so the milano could sprint!
EXCELLENT WORK. MINISUPERHEROTODAY LEGO COMPARISON
maybe 2 years well get a bowie in the same form
Can't believe the Benetar was 3 years ago. It feels like it just came out right before this
Your perception of time is inspiring

The benatar can open more behind tmto reveal more interior
I got the Benatar when the 2020/2021 Olympics happened and built it as I watched. I plan on doing the same with the Milano

love how he says "which released on august 1st 2024" while it's not even technically that date yet
Yeah I feel nothing when I see the Benetar. It's a nice set and the previous version was great too but I feel something inside when I see the Milano
honestly I kinda only prefer the milano because it also appeared in the game, the benatar is also really slick and cool but the bowie? man that thing is overdone... though I hope that the bowie eventually also gets this infinity saga treatment from lego lol
Me too@@joevictor53
The Milano was always my favorite Guardians movie ship 💯💯I just love how it looks so awesome without the interior being cramped, I have other guardians other than the OGs so imma have them walking about, so hype!!!
I wish they could make the Bowie on the "same" scale..that would be awesome
True
@@ParabetlWhat an absolutely useless comment. Why would you even bother chiming in?

Good point! They could have at least included it
Now wishing the Bowie had a set at this size, as the GotG3 set is significantly smaller
That'd be sick but it would also be over $300 lol
They’re probably gonna make one in a few years
Pod drops out where the stand is pretty much! Crazy it can also hold a Hulkbuster

I personally prefer the milano 😄
Great comparison! 😁👍
Here's hoping the Bowie is next in line for a ~2k piece build. The last one is decent i guess, but it feels like it's missing something🤔
You can open up the back part of the benatar
Bruuh lol. How did he not figure it out😂
I think the shaping on the benatar just looks cleaner. And being able to pose it a cool flight angle is nice compared to the Milano. Both look sick together though
Wow, I just finished the Benatar, but I'm 100% picking up the Milano. They are going to look great on a shelf together!
For minifigures, I like those new ones but for the ship, I prefer the old one
Can’t wait to get this first thing on Thursday
I wish I could get the Milano. But, I’m very grateful to have the Benetar. I just don’t have the space or money for the new one lol.
Nice 😺 Can’t wait to get the Milano and Dancing Groot tomorrow! Cheers 🍻
The new drax looks unbelievable
Which one?
I don't see it?
I don’t see him anywhere in the Milano but I do see him in the benatar
Huge Easter egg opportunity missed by not including Bereet in a hidden compartment.
I got the Milano 2 days ago, finished it yesterday, it’s beautiful and the minifigs are great
I have this set I display it on my wall it looks so cool. The build was also fun, very nice set I would say almost perfect 🤩
Thank you for doing this video!
I really enjoyed the benatar so I'm really wishing I had the cash for the Milano. Love that they included the 2 mini figs that were missing from the first ship, feels like they're meant to be together

The back roof plate can come up to show more interior on the benetar

Can you please revisit the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with customs
WIG WIG WIG !
Personally, I upgrade my rocket with the werewolf by night arms

a hook and fishing line. best to display any flying craft.
Milano is Such a crusher set. One of the best PPB ratios
Can you do a comparison of the 2024 one vs the 2014 one
One of the best things about owning the Milano vs owning the Benatar is that I no longer have to pretend that Drax is "invisible." 😂
hmm the superman hair actually fits that version of the character really well lol
I actually like the Benatar’s more subdued color scheme. It can fit in a Star Wars setting. But the Milano is the more formidable looking ship
The Bowie is the biggest downgrade. It should've been the best as it was the last ship but it's the opposite.
They’re probably gonna mss as is a larger version of it in a few years
I like the new one i love volume 1
This video should include The Bowie.
I cannot wait for the bowie
12:00 u forgot to put away back part of the roof, u could se a bit better the interior
Idk which to buy
I would say the new one you have the original Guardians and in the Other set i think all minifigures are Not exlusive and you can get them seperatly
@user-cl9te6rm6y yes, theyre right
I mean The Benatar just retired so might as well buy The Milano.
I loved the Benatar/think it is the better ship and it's price was crazy good value, i just waited to long to get it and now it's retired it's not bot too expensive now £160-180 I'd happily pay but with the Milano releasing now i also like the look and it also being £160 i don't know which one to get.

Bro was meat riding the Milano sooooooo much

I prefer the Benetar honestly
Why 2024 rocket has eyes problem?! In the Rocket’s warbird set he has the same thing. Why anybody didn’t touch it?
I might sell my bean tar for the Milano I just like the characters a lot more in the new set
I think you need a new camera or something, Johnathan 😬
I don't know if they retired the mold or something, but isn't it weird that they never include the Starlord helmet anymore? Especially for sets from Guardians 1&2

the Milano isn't minifigsclae but it's close enough that it could be put in mocs!
are they close enough that if I have the Benatar I don’t need the Milano? save my wallet and my space!
yay!!!!!!
I would not use the word superior at all to describe the Milano...in fact it's way too colorful (not in a good way)
I might have to live in this set after I’m broke from this wave and the Dark Falcon 😭😭😂💯💯
Buy the milano over the dark falcon. That set isnt worth the cash
@@Snqcky I wish I could pre order the marvel wave smh
nice

Can you make a purist custom gwenpool from lego marvel superheroes 2?
I bought Benatar so i could buy the Milano..lol
The benatar does have the better drax
Sup with that nordVPN poster in the Milano??
The benatar was actually $150
$240 CAD 😢
Just me or does he need to clean off his camera lens. Looking a little fuzzy/hazy.
