Just bought this 32" monitor for a brand new rig, and I'm loving it. I was going to do a multi monitor setup but at this size it's not really necessary. I'd rather be 'immersed' in my games and the curved monitor really helps with that... I don't like bezels in the middle anyways so this works great for my needs. I'm just looking at random videos and reviews on this, because i'm curious to see what some of the reviews have to say about it and if there are any quirks i need to be aware of. :) Great video.
The Techne or other people may you please help me, can you turn on a monitor just by plugging it in an outlet or do you need a pc because I want a 144hz monitor to play fortnite on and I don't wanna waste money not knowing you need a pc?
Do you think it's worth paying $50 more for the MAG272R which has HDR is a slightly newer model? The other other difference it seems is the refresh rate range is 60hz-165hz vs the MAG271R which is 48-265hz. Not sure if having a lower range is better when it comes to using Freesync.

Thanks for the review! I’m sick of my current tn monitor and it’s “glowing dark gray” instead of black. I have an LG oled tv that has spoiled me and I feel black levels really help improve overall picture quality. Going to give this VA panel a shot, plus Newegg has it on Black Friday sale for $179!
Merxy well have it up and running for three days now, so far love it! Way better colors than my $300 TN monitor, Black is actually black. Not perfect black like my oled tv, but way better than the TN it replaced. The 1080p resolution might bother some people on a 27”, but it doesn’t bother me as I play a lot of older games. Plus I just use AMDs s virtual revolution or whatever it’s called and play some games at 1440p. So far highly recommended. Edit- forgot to mention, yes the colors profiles are bad right out of the box. I spent some time tweaking but I have it looking really good now. Just use the user setting and start tweaking, especially in the AMD software.

I cannot get Mystic Lighting to even exist on my PC. I downloaded MSI center and it didn't even show it as an option to install or use. Same thing with Dragon Center. There's absolutely no support on this issue whatsoever. I know its only the RGB but I'm absolutely pissed that I cannot get it to work.

Mine came with 3 dead pixels, returning for another. Just dumb luck, it happens. My main issue with the monitor was how saturated the colours appeared. Contrast is beautiful, and holy hell are those whites piercing. Black luminance, near on perfect. Normal response time, no ghosting, no issues, crazy smooth. All this praise, sure, but again, I just could not get around to adjusting the colours to where I wanted them. Trying to find calibration for this monitor is ridiculously difficult. I couldn't find any reviews from any major outlets, either. Just happened on this video, and hearing how you got the colours to match what you desired has me curious to your profile setting.Out of the box, on User, the colours definitely were off. Racing is over saturated, RPG increases Gamma to around 2.4 and 2.6 it seemed like. Really just need to get the colours and temp down and I will be happy.
yeah, out of the box wow the colors were a mess. mine was very yellow. I actually had to go into my windows settings and adjust the display. I guess it was going of my previous monitors settings. it was a 1440p. then I went into a game (BFV) and adjust while I played (with the app not the on board controls)
Finally good specs on VA panel monitor and not that expensive.

The Button is for turn on the monitor and navigate through the settings with it.

I think its 100x100 but you should check the manual. Make sure your walls can carry it and don't have waterlines behind it
