Day One player here: My account already clears everything with a big leeway. I like Argenti as a character and his gameplay, so I've pulled for him. He clears everything in a hypercarry setup, making Herta Himeko on the other side work fully without any problems or contested characters, such as Ruan Mei/Robin.
Don't think many people will be getting Jade. Her usefulness right now is very limited (especially when everyone should have at least one of Herta, Clara and Himeko), and in 3 weeks we have Yunli coming who is also going to be great in Pure Fiction but also pretty damn solid in MoC and Apocalyptic Shadow, given she's just Clara with like 2x damage and more tankiness.
@@xuk6042 if you like her just pull she's probably gonna get better after a few characters that compliment her release (probably screwlum) but her best place will always be PF
I got Jade and I am very happy with her. She's so satisfying to use when she shreds everything with her FUA and then she does it again because she did so much shield damage.
As an Argenti lover I would totally recommend him. He doesn't need Hou Hou, I don't have her yet he does amazing Got him on release, but I pulled his e1 today :) love him sm
@@melopilled I'd say look for the calcs. His e1 gives him 40% crit damage and his s1 gives 36% and a bonus of damage based off energy. If you're running the BP cone or another good five star cone, I'd say e1 is better since it makes him easier to build

Desagree on this one. I've never understood the bias against the Erudition path in this community: they are not limited to PF at all. Baring the dot team its the most flexible path of the game. I use Argenti and Jing Yuan in all game modes (Himeko is also a queen with the break team now). It's maybe less obvious for Argenti than for Jing Yuan, but he is not that niche at all! Even in this appocaliptic shadow: he's good in side 2 against boss Argenti. As for PF: as someone with Argenti, Jing Yuan, Himeko and Herta, it never was a struggle for me at all obviously, regardless of the buff (even dot ones). Argenti just spam his small ult and it's easy 40k (ER rope, ATK boot. Look up the thief set build also for him, it's ridiculously powerfull against phys weak waves).
@@ZevrinYT wdym? I think it’s very easy to understand the bias. Erudition performs under most current destro/nihility units with less resources and/or team locks. They underperform in single target scenarios in comparison. Jade is an answer to this, but with so many powerful units that have just been released (with implant or colorless tough break) it should be pretty obvious why people are skipping or don’t want. This doesn’t mean erudition isn’t viable or you can’t make teams around them but I do think if you’re being objective it’s not hard to understand.
Yes but for Argenti the bias is foolish. Before Acheron he did the most damage per screenshot. His ult is so good that the weakness of eurodution feels barely noticeable@@philupmycupp1
I struggle a lot with Pure fiction. The most I could do is floor 3 with 1 star or floor 2 with 2 stars. Wasn't planning to pull for her but I had a, "why not pull for her and if I don't win that'd be fine." moment, but prior to this I pulled Ruan Mei and as an f2p all I could hope for is to win early (and I did!) I went into building her, and what's great was I was building my QQ at the time I got her so all QQ proceeds went to Jade 😅. Went to Pure Fiction, slapped Gallagher Robin Jade and Herta together. Surprisingly, I reached Floor 4 with 2 stars. Overall getting Jade was an upgrade to my account as I have no Himeko/Argenti/Jing Yuan nor Kafka and Black Swan (all because my priorities were set on Blade and DHIL during their reruns) Edit: I also love the FUA mechanics so much, now I have both Single target FUA team and AOE FUA team, but both of them would be fighting for Gallagher & Robin 😅
There are some destro chars as well as nihility chars that also do well in PF (regardless of buffs). And those chars can then be used in the other game modes. For me it’s hard to justify a erudition char that just specializes in one game mode. Although, I do believe they’re going the right direction with Jade. Making her sub dps, giving buffs, being sp positive. I just think like you said, she’s really just shining in PF which might not be that appealing for most players. In my case, right now I have an e2+ Acheron and then the himeko+herta combo which I typically use to clear pf 12/12. So there really hasn’t been an incentive for me to try and get other characters for just pf specifically.
personally pulling for multiple reason but yeah jade is really good for PF but guess where I'm at it wouldn't hurt to try getting her to the roster. Somewhat a nice addition to have with the amount of jades saved especially cuz why not.
They need to make Pure Fiction characters more useful outside of just PF. Jade is a good start since she has the unique synergy with Blade, but most people don't even use Blade & he's already in a bad spot for a long time. Until we get more HP drain synergies, Jade will forever stay in PF (or if you pull for her E1). I want to see something like an Erudition character that can compensate for Hunt character's lack of AoE damage, without hurting the team's overall DPS.
I think people put way too much value on the 4 stars for the banners. I started at 1.5 and the only 4 stars I use rn are pela, gallagher and herta. I can see every 4 star in the game getting replaced by a 5 star that does their job better. Just a matter of time
Yes, next week for stream So much erudition hate everywhere I swear. Jade is such a fun character gameplay wise, and Argenti can also be great in single target if you don't have skill issue and build him well lol. I think people are just waiting for a character they themselves like or that's "more versatile" to invest in instead. Which is fine.
i already have argenti, but rather than pulling for his light cone, i'll be pulling for jade, because it seems to me that both of them have a lot of synergy. yes, they're both erudition, but argenti's gameplay behaves more like a destruction character, so you aren't exactly sacrificing versatility by having both, at least that's how i see it. i also want to pull for blade in the future and jade seems like a nice pair for him too.
jade is purely just qol and really doesn’t have much use out of multi enemy encounters but argenti with his burst is different bc of how it works, making it plenty viable in single target scenarios as opposed to jade who basically needs waves of enemies to thrive
interesting poll stats about pure fiction personally I struggle more with getting the last star on floor 12 MOC than I do getting the last star on pure fiction I use himeko, herta, black swan and kafka plus I have ruan mei and sparkle
Same here. I got 10 stars in last pure fiction without herta. I might get 11 Or 12 , if I use herta so i started building her. My blade + Himeko + ruan mei carried me on 1 side that they almost full cleared one side. It was 38k . Unfortunately second side was bit lacking, idk why but FF comp without ruan mei sutruggled to even get 20k points 😶
@@soulfulhuman8724 Herta + Himeko + Ruan Mei and another dps breaker always gets me 40,000 points. Herta + Himeko is infinite combos, battle is cleared with 4 cycles still remaining. The problem is the other side since I don't have any 5-star erudition. I used Dr. Ratio, Xueyi & Qingque with Sparkle which can't get as many points. Jade would definitely do it, but I don't see the long term value when I can enhance my Sparkle. I also don't have physical or wind characters, so saving for the new wind hunt & probably boothill rerun. I don't like Yunli's counterattack play style.

Even if you don't clear some cycles remaining, it is better to have 30k points on both side than 40k on one side and 10k on one side.
I used my argenti to clear this newest PF but other than that i havent used him in a very long time. I dont have huo huo so his energy regen is rough outside of spamming his level 1 ult in PF
Im broke after FF RM banner, I got e1 ff and e0 rm within 21 days and 4 stars for jade/argenti banner suck too Edit: only asta good unit but tbh asta pretty replaceable
I haven’t heard most content creators talking about Jade or making videos on her; everyone has been way too busy playing Zenless Zone Zero that they simply forgot about caring about her, lmao 😅
I dont think so this banner is worth it just bcz u alreadt cleared last pure fiction and you dont even have himeko yet. Also as u said, rate up 4 stars are bad and asta is also not worth it bcz u already have sparkle, ruan mei and robin. So overall these banners are not worth your steller jades or money.

Huge skip if you already have Himeko and Herta built and one other signature DPS like Firefly or Acheron or even Jingliue or Jing Yuan etc etc.
Got Jade at 60 pity shes really strong I will use her with quinque in moc too still 6 stacks every time I attack at e0😊
Pure Fiction was a struggle for me....but since I have my Acheron & Firefly teams it is no problem.

@@MeryKeit Yeah...E2S1 Acheron & Firefly is very helpful. E2 Acheron makes Sparkle possible. Aventurine E2S1 is great for Acheron too.
