Ever since I got my headset, I've had this really strange issue where I can only hear/speak on Discord if every single time I plug in my headset, I got into setting and change the audio subsystem from Standard, to Experimental, then back to Standard again, and only THEN will it work. I never tried clicking on Legacy, so next time I will try that and hope it finally works. Its getting old having to do the same repetitive thing over and over every single time I plug my headset in.

This gave me a the BIGGEST headache. Audio Subsystem was the fix for me. It was experimental and putting it to standard fixed it. That was so dumb.

The issue I'm having is sounds coming through voice chat are quiet when starting, very muddy in the middle, and quiet at the end. Soundboards, people talking, all is having the issue.

So my problem is out of nowhere I can’t hear my friends but they can hear me and it’s only discord. Like I can hear game sounds and other stuff but discord just won’t let me hear anything. Then I disconnect from the vc and reconnect and it works. But I’m tired of doing this

can anyone help me, i have an issue where i can hear all the inapp system sounds like connecting to calls, mute/deafen etc but not actual call audio. everywhere i look treats any audio issue the same as this video and well the issue im having just isnt capable of being that. i have tried anyway and doesnt work

I went to sound settings on the PC, then advanced options "app volume and device preferences", changed all the discord output/input to my preferred method then went into discord and changed to legacy as your video showed and it finally worked. Thx
