These locks aren't shit because Masterlock "doesn't know". They're shit because they can get away with (and have been) SELLING them to people who "don't know". 😉
Security by obscurity. Lock companies and locksmiths know that modern locks are shit, they just talk big and keep everything as secret as possible so no one knows how shit everything is.
There are many people who only target the clearly unprotected. You could put a lock that's not locked on something and it would discourage some potential thieves from attempting. Also, it helps if your lock isn't vulnerable to something as simple as a combing attack.
Once again as a license locksmith this is very true and very easy to do. Just ask the owner of a warehouse who had to get into his backflow device and we were there doing some electrical repair for him and I told him I could get in in less than 5 minutes and I have to admit it was about 15 seconds.

Masterlock logic: "The bigger the lock, the harder it is to lockpick"
So true lol
At master lock we work hard to make sure you are not protected
Hahaha
You had me in the first half ngl
💀
Their business is to make money selling locks, not offering you protection.

I keep seeing this "ngl", what does this stand for?
When you're a lockpick but want an honest living.
Masterlock's motto should be "Keeping lock pickers employed since 1921."
“What the hell are you doing in my house, im calling the police”
“You are using a master lock magnum”
😂😂😂
These locks aren't shit because Masterlock "doesn't know". They're shit because they can get away with (and have been) SELLING them to people who "don't know". 😉
Security by obscurity. Lock companies and locksmiths know that modern locks are shit, they just talk big and keep everything as secret as possible so no one knows how shit everything is.
@@Xahnel As a wise person once said, locks only keep honest people honest. A crook will just break the window
Remember, folks... locks only keep honest people, honest.
Im surprised that Masterlock hasn't tried to send inept lawyers aginst you!
“This is not the LockPickingLawyer”
He doesn't claim to be...
@@CS-zn6pp most people would not proudly claim to be a direct knock off 🤷🏽♂️
I love how he doesn’t even bother to take it out of the box
Lock idea: 2 keyholes that need to be opened at once, almost impossible to pick as most picking needs 2 hands
Bro, have you watched this channel before? That'd be hardly even a challenge for him. Hell he could probably pick the lock blindfolded.
you can just... force all of the pins ABOVE the shear line??? that's garbage lmao
Been garbage for 100+ years, yet here we are
🤡🤡🤡
@@McNallyOfficial have they come at you? Not like they have any valid reasons to lol
@@supraguy4694 if they came after him then thelockpickinglawyer wouldn't be alive anymore lol
@@supraguy4694 They should just either give up the name "Master lock", for obvious reasons, or make better locks if they don't want to be made fun of.
It's just like my dad used to tell me, a lock only keeps an honest man honest.
There are many people who only target the clearly unprotected. You could put a lock that's not locked on something and it would discourage some potential thieves from attempting. Also, it helps if your lock isn't vulnerable to something as simple as a combing attack.

The lock picking lawyer sounding different these days
Masterlock, when you really want your shit stolen 🤣
Once again as a license locksmith this is very true and very easy to do. Just ask the owner of a warehouse who had to get into his backflow device and we were there doing some electrical repair for him and I told him I could get in in less than 5 minutes and I have to admit it was about 15 seconds.
I expected him to go "You are using a master lock model 736, it can be opened with a master lock model 736"
Master lock when they find out u use their locks: "sweet free advertising!"
Them after watching ur videos:"this man really just ruined our career"
Well master is doing just fine so he really hasn't done much damage
They’ve made trash locks since forever and yet they’re still the biggest lock company
Master locks are literally used as beginner locks for people learning to pick, they're like the least secure locks but the most known brand 😂
Nothing is happening this comment is useless like you lol.
I guess not all advertising is good advertising
This man woke up and chose "fuck that locker particularly"💀
Master is known for its terrible locks, it’s jokingly used as the stereotypical bad example for locks lol
Yeah... Master lock is frankly a joke by now. Can be opened with no effort almost consistently. Half the time you see masterlock and already know you won't have to do anything.
Truly disappointed it wasn't open with a master lock M736.
Played around with lock picking for one summer as a teenager. Masterlocks were the one lock I was guaranteed to be able to open
At this point master lock just needs to hire you
Then how would they sell their multitude of locks lol
