BT opp can block in 5f by press f. While people usually press b to block in 6f but 2:53 is NOT guaranteed. BT opp can ducked high in 1f. So 3:21 also NOT guaranteed.
You are correct, 🤠 While they are not completely guaranteed they will often work as if they are. Even pressing f to block is not an easy/consistent thing to do. The presence of ff4,2 at i10 cements that your opponent will not react in an unpredictable way. I should have included that footnote tho, thank you for reminding me
Just curious im a kunimitsu main on usurper but looking at these extended combos you do what do you use a normal ps controller or a proper arcade stick? Because the combos are looking very hard for controllers lol.
@@MichaelSS the input where you press f4 then after that f1or 2 what is it that you do to extend the combo i always drop there. Do you wait for a few frames in that moment before pressing or just continous input.
Been playing Kuni for a few days now and I just have questions. 1. I feel like Kuni has no get wall splatted move on the wall. It feels like they can kind of stand block maybe eat a low but she seems lacking unless huge whiff or something. 2. Her hop kick feels really bad or is it just me. 3. I feel like she does not have a panic move or a way to deal with pressure or something that crushes well. B+2 is good but can get stuffed. Whiff punishment/ launchers I feel like her best launched is ch set 2 and d/f+2 but d/f+2 seems way slower than most looking for advise.
I get how you feel, she's not really great in terms of wall pressure. You have to just fish for qcf1+2 at a distance and hope they press something or try to step. Otherwise your wallsplats will come from punishes rather than pressure. What she does well though is use her FC low to annoy the hell out of your opponent. So that's going to be your most threatening tool both at the wall and in the open. Her hopkick is pretty good actually in terms of range. Nothing excellent but it's relatively low risk with high reward. Sadly with Kuni you'll get most of your big rewards by throwing out random launchers, otherwise you'll spend all match chipping away at your opponent. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if the other characters weren't such explosive damage monsters, but they are so... :( So throw out random df2s once in a while, unsafe or not it's gonna get you a lot of mileage. SET2 and KAT 3,2 will also be your main ways to launch your opponent. If you can find ways to throw in BT f+1+2 that would be ideal as well. b+2, b+1+2, ub3, u+3, and her backdash are good at getting out of pressure. f,d,df2 also has good high evasion. It's launch punishable so be careful, but I promise you you'll rarely get launched for it unless you're facing people with a lot of Kuni experience.
The time has come to play Kuni and be a degenrate thank you brothers and sisters I can now play a secound character with Alisa starting today wish me luck
@@MichaelSSgood news I ofcourse reset deleted all my ranks all the way down to the gutter. So I can really try things without feeling the pressure that I'm supposed to be way better than people. When you get high up the character starts off really really high.
@@MichaelSS I legitimately used only the counter hit set 2 combo and pokes only. With zero back dashing to keep it balanced. I don't know if set 3 is good or it's low ranks. I feel like d+4 can't be the main low and d/b+3 feels yoshi sus. However fun to play. Whiff punishment feels like just going in but not sure just minor practice on day one.
@@mylinuxstruggle5495 SET 3 is a low just to annoy your opponent. All her lows do that but they aren't built to give you momentum with the exceptions of FC df3 and FC df2. The best thing to do after connecting any of her other lows is to backdash or sidestep. She has a few other lows but you'd have to force them into your gameplay, it would probably be better to go for throws instead
@@mylinuxstruggle5495 With Kuni you only wanna create whiffs at range 1. Df2 and uf3 are your main whiff punish tools. A lot of Kuni's get mesmerized by her movement and want to backdash all the way to the corner, but her whiff punishment is not nearly as rewarding from far distances. Glad you found some useful stuff!
been ages since I played Kuni this video motivated me to play her again thank you LOL
We need more Kunis! :D
Kuni is many things, but she's more of a single assassin.

Hello 👋 I'm using a normal PS controller with some combinations mapped together. What particular inputs are seeming annoying to do? Maybe I can help

Well done. Now kuni asoles will have Smth special to apply.
Great vid tho
Haha I wanna see Kunis performing better, and being less basic to watch
I'll take optimized pro max :D great vid man, learned a lot of new stuff thanks 🙏
My favorite one
I'm glad you found it useful!

Kunimitsu has alot of problems with her hitbox, I'm surprised the devs didn't acknowledge this but instead they nerfed her, thanks for the vid 👍🏽
I don't think she's any more problematic than the other small characters tbh
Her movement seems to be the biggest issue
