    I have a genuine dilemma with wrapping my head around the fact that we are placed where we are at birth to seek God, but to me that doesn’t answer how the fairness plays in if some are hyper exposed and some aren’t at all, such as uncontacted tribes. I don’t have any backing for this, but I would think it would have to be up to chance of our nature where we are born and when because of our free will and God taking a step back and allowing the world to operate. Anyone who can help me understand I welcome the advice. God bless!

    When you think of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit think of Satan and the angels that followed him. They saw God and rebelled anyway. Our nature, fallen, sin built into us from eons not seeing or knowing God and man going his own way, no understanding in a world changed from its former glory in the beginning and no longer bearing the Image of God and can't see 2 feet in front of our face, stumbling around in the dark. All of us have mercies upon mercies, grace upon grace, forgiveness upon forgiveness and will received them as long as we have life, We are all just stupid men and women, including the most knowledgeable, learned among us. Only God can judge and His judgement is always righteous and just.

  • @fareface
    @fareface 2 месяца назад +1

    I think what it means to blaspheme the Holy Spirit is to judge something wicked as good. If Jesus is Truth and the Spirit is Goodness (as universal powers), then it would mean that being delusional and deceitful can always be forgiven but calling wickedness good will surely lead to damnation. Because objective/ universal Good (Aka God - the Holy Spirit) is the force of Love (The Father), but if subjective good is just the moral motivations of man then anything can be good, and if your subjective good does not line up with God’s Goodness then you are absolutely living a sinful lifestyle AND think it’s good. You are not convicted by your sin bc you think it’s good so you continue to sin unforgivably and continuously. Take pride for example; in some cultures it might be admirable to be very proud meanwhile it separates man from God. So when Jesus called out the Pharisee for blaspheming the Holy Spirit, it’s bc he took a good thing and called it evil which demonstrated his poorly oriented morality and proved that he is living away from God.

    I would love to talk to Sam. How? Lets make it happen. Because he's wrong on a few things.

  • @john-fb1gz
    @john-fb1gz 2 месяца назад +2

    Sam makes a valid point when he suggests that it is not possible to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit in the same manner as the Pharisees did, as Jesus Christ is no longer physically present. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would require Jesus Christ to be present in the flesh, and for someone to directly attribute His miracles to Beelzebub while looking at Him face to face. Given that this scenario is not feasible, it is not possible to commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit in the same way.
    Also, pay attention when you read in
    1. NOT BE FORGIVEN
    Matthew 12:31-32 KJV - Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall NOT BE FORGIVEN unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
    Hey, listen up. Not being forgiven doesn't mean you're going to hell. It just means you're not forgiven. You only get forgiven when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. Then, not only will your sins be forgiven, but they'll be washed away by the blood of Jesus.
    There's a big difference between being forgiven and having your sins blotted out.
    Isaiah 43:25 KJV - I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
    There's a huge difference when your sins are forgiven, and they're being cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
    1 John 1:7 KJV - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
    2. PAY ATTENTION TO "BUT IS IN DANGER"
    Mark 3:28-29 KJV - Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost HATH NEVER FORGIVENESS, BUT IS IN DANGER OF ETERNAL damnation:
    That does not mean you are going to HELL, "BUT IS IN DANGER" if you do not change your mind about what Jesus says about who he is, God in the flesh. And believe the gospel salvation. Believe that he died at the cross for all of your sins, that he was three days and three nights in the tomb, and he resurrected the third day.
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    3. IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN.
    Luke 12:10 KJV - And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN.
    Jesus Christ had not yet been crucified, so his only recourse was to either forgive or not forgive sins, similar to how he forgave the sins of the Old Testament saints. When they offered animal sacrifices, their sins were temporarily forgiven, but the sin itself was never truly cleansed, erased, or justified. All of that became possible through Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
    You can blaspheme as much as you want, and as long as you are saved, you will not go to hell because Jesus Christ died for all sins. The only way to go to hell is by rejecting Him as your Lord and Savior and refusing to accept what He accomplished on the cross at Calvary. Salvation is found in believing the gospel of salvation, which includes His death, burial, and resurrection.

    • @kingomar7332
      @kingomar7332 23 дня назад +1

      Are you suggesting that you can blaspheme now against the Holy Spirit and it’s not a problem?

  • @kromero3868
    @kromero3868 2 месяца назад

    Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, as described in Matthew 12:31, involves attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan. In the context of the Pharisees, they were witnessing Jesus' miracles and yet claimed He was empowered by Satan rather than acknowledging the Spirit's work. This was a direct rejection of Jesus' identity and the Spirit's testimony about Him.
    Today, the essence of this sin remains the same: it is about rejecting the person and work of Jesus Christ. When the Holy Spirit testifies to the truth of Jesus' death and resurrection, accepting this truth leads to salvation, while rejecting it results in remaining in a state of unforgiveness (John 16:8-9). For believers, this sin is not a concern because they have already accepted Jesus and received total forgiveness and new life in Him (Hebrews 10:14). Therefore, believers cannot commit this sin, as they have already embraced the Spirit's testimony about Jesus.
