- Today I have some more Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay for you. I can always rely on AC Unity to fall back on as we wait for some more new games to be released. For this video, I did some solo coop missions & decided to pick out a few cool moments that happened in them. Unity is always a good time & I know many of you like to see it as well. what about the exaggerated long fake jumps where the character is about to for 4 meters long
@@zenath3125 haha that's just player mistake. We tend to hold parkour up as we free run straight. If. you just hold right trigger Arno doesn't do that

The parkour of this game, is just perfect. More fluid than the recent Assassin's Creed games.

Parkour is nonexistant in the newest entries
The only thing I don't like in this parkour is how far he jumps

@@mikey_escobar5895 I hate the arm flailing for such short jumps as if he had no control. In real life in parkour you wouldn't do that, for big jumps you would do what Ezio/Altair does with the arms back. If you had no control you wouldn't commit to the jump in the first place.
Altair's outfit looks much better in unity than some games with those awesome cloth physics
unfortunately the robes still seem stuck to his legs
@@starzilla624 ikr all the altair's outfit in ac games looks like that when it comes to legacy outfit. but in ac1 the original game itself doesn't looks like that

Unity's animations are what assassinations should really look like. They're definitely what I think of when Altaïr is mentioned.
Still the best Assassin game in the Assassin’s Creed series to me. 😍😍

If only Ubi would have continued down this game’s route, we might actually still have assassins in AC games.
The public did it to themselves. Yeah, the bugs and technical issues fucked everything up, but even after the bugs were fixed, people had already made up their mind: "AC Unity is shit! Period!" I'd always say that AC Unity is actually pretty good without the bugs and I was laughed at because of it. Well, who's laughing now? By the time people actually started to appreciate the game, Ubisoft had already chose a different route. We were given a chance and the haters threw it away.

Blame yourselves, everyone shit on this game so hard when it came out Ubisoft actually changed their game to RPG since the witcher got so much praise
Yea it’s funny everyone literally shit on this game and syndicate so much they changed their whole game cause of it, now everyone wants to appreciate them, literally all i see people praising them now ... oh how many switched up on Ubisoft now they want them to go back 😂 not gonna happen now as they’re making hella bank now then before on AC cause it’s easier to implement micro transactions into a rpg game, so well most likely never see a classic AC game ever again thanks to the hate and criticism they received on Unity and Syndicate good job everyone🙌🏽👏🏽

Still my favourite AC game. Valhalla went a few steps back to classics. Amazing game, I admit.
But I want something like very polished version of Unity. Can't wait for "Ghost Of Thusima" to play: great animations and stealth.

@@the17mercenaries32 Because of the extremely messy launch. It was super buggy so most people hated it, and now they don't see how good it is after the bugs are patched

Or if you just play the non-patched 60 fps version on PS5 that's good too. Mostly all the bugs are pushed past by brute force, aside from some NPC's glitching out

@@learniteasy8146 if youre talking about valhalla, no. but if you talking about oddysey, then yes. Actually the big downside in valhalla is the stealth gameplay. The story, modern day, world, characters are better since ac 3. I believe you already played the last three to say like that instead watching gameplays

@@adlimuhammada man ac3 was criticized a lot, but as a perspective of a person who started the ac franchise with ac3, it was the epitome of a video game for me, i didn't knew anything about ezio or any other ac lores, so it was the first experience and a great one, i played the game heartily and i will believe ac3 will be the best in franchise till death.
As for odyssey and valhalla looking at the gameplay convinced me it was more of an open world rpg a witcher 3 rip off, that alone cancelled my mind to play them.
And ac unity was the most assassin's creed there is, that was the direction the franchise should have gone.

Remake Assassins Creed 1 and make it bigger (story wise) and with Unity graphics and mechanics and voila, AC is back on track :)

things I like about Unity:
-the stealth
-the visuals
-the animations, in parkour as well as in combat
things I dislike about Untiy:
-Arno sometimes getting stuck on objects and screwing you up 6:15
-the parkour being pretty clunky at times, also they removed side eject and catch ledge
-bishop saying "sneaky assassin approach"
Side eject and catch ledge is still there... did you play ac unity made in china?
@@Based1889 they’re technically still in there, but you can only use them in really specific situations. Way less versatile than in the Desmond games, or even the Ezio games

Wow! Love the parkour in this! Forgot how good it is compared to the somewhat basic climbing of the current series of creed games. Still like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla though 👍

The AC unity is clearly a master piece when it comes to the experience of parkour, assassination, graphics and the Paris as background.

What is the stealth like in origins, because I wanna buy the game and I'm not sure if the stealth is good enough.
@@rgtemple it depends on what you’re after. It is more akin to Black Flag than to Unity.
Unity, for me at least, is all about going quickly and chaining your attacks with smoke bombs/tools/etc. Origins is a little bit slower-especially since a lot of the enemies are spread out amongst a large area. It is very conducive to ranged stealth gameplay, I’ve found, as well.
@@wolfmanwilliam5801 I'm looking for a less traditional ac game right now cuz I've played 2 and brotherhood recently, but at the same time I want the stealth to be at least decent. Having told you what I like which of the 2 games would you suggest me?

As a Unity fan, this really should have been released more polished/optimized.
I mean Unity's graphic is stunning. No AC game still tops the graphic aspect of Unity.
But Ubisoft failed to deliver playable yet a bit buggy version just enough to get fans to hold on a bit longer.
Eventually Ubisoft got so chickened out by the backlash, and rolled back to the 'Black Flag-ish' graphics ever since.
Origin, Odyssey, Valhalla looks good. Stunning at some point. But honestly, it's just more textualized version of Black Flag. They never took graphic choice they took in Unity.
It's really a loss for both games and devs. Unity's graphical choice should have been preserved for new titles.
Still and always will be my favourite assassins creed

I've always said that if they remake the first game with these Parkour mechanics and graphics its gonna be crazy good.

Love Unity, sad (out of premature release and bugs) is that u can't battle like Ezio and old ACs with bare hands/hidden blade, it must be any weapon of choice.
I don't know why but this reminds me of buster from "arrested development"

Maybe if the AC community wasn't so quick to judge and get pissed off, we'd still have this type of gameplay.
They should have kept the unity engine for the future games (they would be so much better with it )
If only ubisoft can remake ac1 or Ezio trilogy with unity graphics and gameplay. Even next gen graphics can be better
