Fun Facts:
1. This film is Pixar's first film to get a PG rating instead of the usual G rating.
2. It's also Pixar's first film to: Have an all human cast, not have the Pizza Planet Truck seen anywhere in the film, and have the music not composed by any members of the Newman family as Michael Giacchino provided the film's score.
3. Elastigirl is refered to as Mrs.Incredible in the film's merchandise, this is because DC Comics also had a superhero with the same name so to prevent getting sued by them, they used Elastigirl only in the movie.
4. Due to Cars' release date being switched from November 4, 2005 to June 9, 2006, this was Pixar's last film to be released in November until “The Good Dinosaur” which was released in 2015.
5. While the Luxo ball was nowhere seen in the film, It did appear in the direct to video short, "Jack Jack Attack"
6. Brad Bird previously directed the 1999 Warner Bros. animated film "The Iron Giant".
