      Keeping this place would be like making o.j simpsons house into a museum after he murdered ron and nicole in fact instead of tearing it down it should have been burned down!!!!

    I have passed this place many times since I have lived here in Nashville. It's only 5 miles from where I live, sad day when no one would buy it, then they tore it down and built a carwash there!!! Nashville has lost so many historical buildings over the years so sad Nashville doesn't care about saving these buildings!!

      @Tony Ray
      Yeah... It seems like no City is interested in preserving it's history, especially lately.
      Ya'd think that with all these supposed "Billions" just floating around, that some wealthy fan would buy and save these places... Nope.😒
      The true Historians are apparently far and few between, these days!

    Great stuff. Elvis rented a hanger from my grandfather when he played Birmingham in 1976 I believe. He called my grandfather (or his people) and ask if he could hanged his plane for some minor repair while the plane was in town. Because my grandfather was so nice Elvis sent us tickets and I met him just before the show.

    I can’t believe the city of Memphis or EP Enterprises didn’t purchase it! Not only is it amazing music history they could have generated revenue by touring it? Set it up with items not currently available for viewing. I’m just shocked.

    Another great video Billy. The house was built in 1935 and was in fact bought by The Colonel in the early fifties from non other than Hank Snow. He had the house until the early eighties, maybe 82, when the EP Estate took it over in a law suit. There is a very interesting video of the previous owner, Judge Steve North, who gives a guided tour of the house and fan club building when it was used as a law office. He also interviews Ray Parker of the Jordanaires, who use to come to the house to meet The Colonel. Some really interesting video of The Colonels' office when it was in use. Hope this adds some factual information to your video and look forward to the next installment! Nick from the UK

    I'm glad I've came across your videos 1st. I learned my 1st bits about him, his death,Graceland & his grave watching your stuff. Born & raised in Shreveport,La where he performed at the La hayride wish I would of been alive to see him. My mom was just a born in 66 age 11 when he died but her 1st husband she married into the Presley side of the family his family believe it or not. Where her ex husband my siblings father his grandad recieved the letter when elvis passed. Now old enough at 29 and having RUclips to do so I'm learning more about Elvis & plan to visit Graceland 1 day with my kids to get as close to knowing & seeing his things as I can. I'm more interested in learning about him then the presley side of my family for some reason but I've always known who he was and the relations. Fascinating to see the places he once was,ate at,started at,recorded at & some videos of him as a kid to the day he died. Thanks for sharing all these !!

    You guys just don't know how much these videos are appreciated by those of us, like myself, that are disabled and can't go, do or see things like this. Even though I have a certain dislike for Tom Parker, it is still history and it is Elvis history. I thought that he treated Elvis in a totally selfish way. Even after Elvis' death at his funeral, it was so obvious that he had no respect for Elvis and was there only because he had to be. However, had it not been for him, Elvis might have not made as much money as he did, so there is definitely two sides. Yet again, another great video! Keep up the great work Spa Guy!

    As Col Tom parker already passed away many years ago, what happened to this building (and his stuff) in the years after? Was the family of Parker looking after it? Also, I am from Holland and nice to see they placed a Delfts Blauw-wall paper. This is a very old traditional Dutch style from many centuries ago. But still famous I see.
