I never knew there was fan who loves the beegees as much as I do. I met them in London, they were everything I hoped they would be , I thanked Barry for his autograph and he said don't you dare thank me,I want to thank you for coming to see us. mo and rob were great too
What a wonderful story, martin. What a thrill that must’ve been. Not sure I’d even be able to speak if I met Barry. So many personal favorite songs and lyrics I’d thank him for.
Love the Bee Gees they are absolute jewels in all they do. Such remarkable voices and music, I have been privileged to have listened to them all my life. 60+ years. You are a great reactor. Subscribed
This is such a great album, one of my favourites easily. And this is such an awsome song! I hope this video will reach a lot of new listers, so they can too discover the Bee Gees magic.
Yeah, the feelings run deep with the Brothers Gibb. I don’t know that they’ve ever been my #1 favorite artist (more like Top 5-10) but no other artist touches my heart and soul quite like them, and it’s been that way since 1970.
You're so right.......there'll never ever be another group like the beegees.....they were a one time phenomenon.......just wish more people would open their minds and listen.....there are still so many who write them off as a disco group.....
Was I living under a rock? I missed this one. You're right Sir, if I didn't have a Bee Gees album I would never have heard it. Oh boy, it's like a new release for me thanks to you Gordon. That was a stunning song. Barry was absolute perfection. I ALWAYS say ... Mr and Mrs. Gibb must be so proud! hahaha! Truth! Are we lucky to get to experience these guys or what?. Really enjoyed this. Love on ya!
Nah, you weren’t living under a rock, MERP. That was a time (late-80’s to the early-90’s) when the Bee Gees hadn’t yet made it all the way back to mainstream acceptance and/or popularity. That didn’t come for a few more years, but being the legends they were, they still made some incredible music that only their most hardcore fans knew about. These 2 songs blew my freaking mind, then and now! Take care…
@@timelesspoprocksoul Ahhhh, I just realized where I was at that point and time with the musical love of my life (David Bowie) . Bowie's last album at the time was the one and only album that I can barely recall what songs are on it. It was the only let down I had ever had from him and it was huge. Ironically the title of the album was "Never Let Me Down",,, Ain't that something else? haha Anyways, I was hungry for my faith in Bowie's music to return to me so when he reemerged with a band called "Tin Machine" that he mainly fronted and consisting of Tony and Hunt Sales (Soupy Sales' sons) and Reeves Gabrels I was like a hungry wolf consuming nothing but this new band. It was so interesting because Bowie was trying to be just one of the boys in the band but c'mon , who was he kidding? I guess himself. After all ,his name carried so much weight. He even grew a beard and looking back at that I think it was some form of hiding his stardom. I was so excited about his new endeavor that well, let's put it this way I didn't give much time to anyone else and you're right only die hard Bee Gee fans would of known that song.. I bought very few albums from other artists throughout my life so the hidden jewels of many artists are just that...hidden from me. And, I get it now because the Bowie songs that the general population know and love are played on the radio but those main stream songs are my least favorites. I dive deep into Bowie's albums and those hidden gems always end up being my favorites. Good grief, what am I doing here...hahahahahahaha this is about Barry Gibb NOT me or David Bowie. Mercy, that shows you right there where my brain is at. LOL!!!!!!! Sorry for the run on... I'll try and not do that again. hahahahaa. Shoot me already! hahahaha. Ok, well... Love on ya!!! 🤣😂🤣😂
@@maryelizabethreynoldsprice2135 You’d get on great with my sister, Jenifer. She knows the history with Bowie and goes beyond the hits to the deeper album stuff. The Bee Gees at that point were still a few years from being acknowledged/welcomed back for the legends they had always been. Only their older longtime fans were paying attention to them in 1987-1989.
Patty-I play this one on loop when I'm working on an art or writing project. The best atmosphere for creativity. I also listen to it when I'm coming home on the bus. It's one of my many favorites.
My friend we are the same age and have the same taste for wonderful music. When you witness perfection it`s hard to find good music that`s even compatible to what we witnessed. I feel Ya.
Patty-I am a major Robin fan so i loved the Bodyguard video. I could listen to that all night long. Wait i have. I already mentione Tears in another comment. This album is next on my list to purchase. It was thus one or High Civilization. Thank you for sharing.
All in all, no bros. Gibb over the other, so the magic is the three of them. But you're right, Barry does an uncomparable job here. Having leadsingers on board like Barry and Robin is such a great gift and they never disapointed. Check'em out with 'Walking Back To Waterloo', just to hear them sharing leads.
Sadly at the time I couldn't afford LP's or Albums and my Bro would rather have bought me sanitary equipment than go into a record store and buy his sis a Bee Gee's LP for her B/Day or Christmas, lol. He was a Metal head and a Springstein buffer. Pity my record collection never consisted of what I liked but what he could borrow.
They have changed my life and music
So beautiful. Great song about how they felt after losing Andy. Such loving sweet men. ❤
Gorgeous!! Barry and his brothers are such artists!
Also one of my most favourite Barry Gibb Performances !!! ❤Greetings from Austria !🇦🇹
Tears is my favorite song in this album, followed by wish you were here.
I stopped in.. I never heard this...was beautiful . Bee Gees sang from their hearts.
I never knew there was fan who loves the beegees as much as I do. I met them in London, they were everything I hoped they would be , I thanked Barry for his autograph and he said don't you dare thank me,I want to thank you for coming to see us. mo and rob were great too

bee gees heartbreaker
Christmas came early! What a treat, two of my most favorite Bee Gees songs. No one is in the same category as The Bee Gees, thank you.
Magical. Indeed. Thank you.

The emotional connection you have to the Bee Gees music is so beautiful. Thank you for another stellar reaction. Have a great day! ✌🏼

My fav Bee gees album of all time
I just love The Bee Gees and the fact that they wrote everything is just amazing!

Nice reaction! Love those Bee Gees!
Quelle sensibilité que vous avez, c’est beau !
Thanks for your amazing and insite full analysis! Wish I could have gone to a concert by those amazing Bee Gees!
What a Great song by a Great group. My all-time favorite group
A favorite for sure! Love it!!

This is one of the best even though it is not that well known.

The Bee Gees used to have me crying as a teen...I know all of their albums
Look up Robin Gibb Secret Agent
Patty-I'm currently waiting for How Old Are You to arrive. Secret Agent is next on my list.
Lol you know the words like me ..singing along to their songs every day
1991 from High Civilization listen to Sir Barry's lead in "The Only Love" - it will wreck you. LOL.
I believe Too Much Heaven Was Barry's best. Should be on your playlist my brother
