Left back 100% should of been our first area to strengthen imo but perhaps the right player wasn't available

And if anything happens to Isak we can't expect Wilson to play every game , I wouldn't be shocked if we went in for a striker in January. Don't want to tempt fate but

We could do with a fast centre back. If Botman is injured we have a problem.
We are exposed at LB because of tactical reasons not because the player. We’re going to three at the back when in possession and the height is important if the opponent is pressed and lob it forward.

Yes agreed pace is a potential issue. Also agree, think Tonali starts on bench on Saturday. But I’ve been wrong before 😂

If Tonali does start it’ll be for Ando with big Joe going into the front three. I think our formation this season will be a 4-6. The front 6 players all intermingling roles. I’m probably better off dying we’lll be play a 10 formation really.

Yeah the pace of the back 4 is an interesting one. Hopefully our midfield continues to help the defence as well as last season, but quick counter attacks could be dangerous to us.
