Ignoring any debates about hypnosis and taking that at face value, there's a part of Pekora that does want to hug Marine, she just refuses it almost every single time. Another possibility is that hugging Koyori made Pekora reach her limit immediately lmao.

I was already impressed by her speech levels but she just keeps on impressing me more and more with surprises like that. It's a little strange and sad she makes such a weird first impression with her less than せいそう clips out there.
Thankfully marine knows that peko is this way so i think she'll be fine, if only a little disappointed. But yes, Marine conversation skills are crazy. I feel like i didn't know how advanced and skilled a person could be until i watched her with others.
