My neighbor had all of there early lps, so I was lucky to have heard there music when I was 14 1972. So when I turned 17 I saw them live in a club, and then countless time's after that in the Hudson Valley, NY. Now retired, living in Florida at 66, I wouldn't hesitate to see Terry and NRBQ again. Long Live The Q 💚💖💛💙
This is actually NOT a bad documentary. Lots of enthusiasm from famous music types, and even a few Hollywood folks, including Homer Simpson. A history of the band is attempted, but largely this is people expressing why they love 'em, with some talk from the fellas and some unique music clips too. Sadly, this doc didn't work (nothing ever did) and they continue to play to far too few bar patrons. My all time favorite band, and I grew up with new Beatles albums as my kid soundtrack! Criminally underappreciated would be an understatement... "A dollar... and a sandwich. - Joey"
My favorite version of “the one and only”. Off the cuff trombone, and the swingingest drumming this side of the universe. Thanks for posting this complete version of the A&E doc. Joyful noise.
My goodness...how could anyone *not* love a band that writes a song called Howard Johnson's Got His Ho-Jo Working, with a lyric like "I want a grilled cheese and an order of fries" , or record an album of duets with Captain Lou Albano ??!!! And those are just two of dozens, no...maybe hundreds of great NRBQ moments on record.
NRBQ at The Shaboo Innin Mansfield, CT. This was an old silk mill, always sold out with UCONN & ECSU within a few miles, the whole building was swaying, whether or not it was to the beat depended on how high you were… I’ve seen them at a bunch of other places across New England but The Shaboo was my favorite. RIP…Tom Ardolino…❤️🙏
This doc better than expected- there were a few surprises, career wise. Big Al's contribution a bit underplayed, but overall excellent. Have all their lp's- cherished among the best.

NRBQ is the Greatest American RocknRoll Band Of All Time

This was a great watch!! Thanks for posting it!! It's a shame there's not a lot more views.
I've been scouring the internet for this everywhere and finally found it! cool.
P.S. long live Keith!
Playing good music and still having fun...whats better than that??
I go back to 67 where The 7 of us played
That was terrific. I came to see and hear Terry Adams and he was great but the rest of the band knocked me out.
The one and only = awesome!
Joey Spampinato, my favorite, guy brought the entire package. Group isn't the same without him.
They are a great band that did. It sell out
When Terry left , they stopped being NRBQ...
Terry is still in the band!
Yea whatchu talkin bout willis
Terry is still the original NRBQ GUY@@daevidroselli6520
@@philwilson7816 ….of course.,i never said he wasnt…i see them every year!!!
Terry, Casey, Scott and John are fantastic!
