I love sweet potatoes! Have you noticed that volunteer plants tend to be hardier, more disease resistant and produce better than the original "store bought" plants?
This is great to know! I have some growing in my yard and I am going to do this! Next, way off subject! I am fairly new to canning, and I watched your video, "Sealing canning jars, water bath". My question is, can you do this with dry products like beans or rice? Thank you!
@@SurvivalHT Thank you! I didn't know for sure! I hadn't seen anyone doing it to uncooked dry beans or anything else like that. I just found your channel today and I subscribed!
I had a few store bought sweet potatoes that i cut off some questionable looking parts. I let them callus for a couple hours before burying them. They've got slips growing now and a few of the slips were large enough that i cut them up to water propagate. But i only cut the slips today, so I'm a bit impatient. This is after i took some tomato cuttings yesterday. Lol
Thank you for a great video.

Thanks for the video what zone do you live in?
Are you on well water or city water.
We have access to both
They will root in any water
How late in the season can you plant sweet potatoes ?
It takes 5 months to come to full maturity. They need to be harvested before the ground freezes. So 5 months before the the first freeze
Will be different depending on where you are
Thank you
Dang.. I wonder if this would work for polk sallet? (Just kidding. 😂)
