- Today we visited The Horsepower Factory in Henderson, TN with my 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with the First Ever installed ESS G3 Supercharger system and made record power on the Dyno. Honestly we had no idea it would gain so much!

Awesome man, great power. My G2 got me 720whp with similar setup. Running the G3 now at 14lbs of boost, Fore innovations fuel system, 95lb injectors, 105mm pulley and tuned on E85. Car on the dyno made 870WHP. These kits are amazing

Did you max the G2 out or? I’m still undecided on G2 or G3
@@matt7sixty not necessarily maxed out, it could have reached 800 hp but didn't want to put that much strain on the blower. I knew I wanted an 800 hp car so the obvious choice was to upgrade to the G3 and fuel system.
@@Sabotfit5oh Gotcha how small of pulley did you do on the G2? Also I have cams and dumps so idk if that’s more reason to go G3 or that it would make like 850 on the G2 lol?

Nice work gentlemen! Beautiful car! Ford did a very functional and tastful job on the Mach1. Kinda wish I wouldn't have seen this though ha ha. I've been looking for an excuse to get another V8 car. Been driving a stock 19 STI for a couple years, great car but it will never sound like a V8 not to mention the brutal #'s you threw down. Enjoy the car, be safe, positive vibes your way brother!
Running the G2 kit on mine and it's been great. ESS kits are turning out to be very efficient!

Super clean set up, now you got me into really supercharging my GT350, that ESS supercharger steered me away from the procharger, If I do supercharge my GT350 I want to do the exact same set up you did! I liked what Ken said on the previous video about this kit using the OEM pulley unlike the others, less stress on the crank, smart design 🙌🏽
Yes. I would definitely go the ESS route. Better fitment and no crank stress. Install was so easy a 10 year old could do it 😅

@@Oliver-ft2fq yes but ESS is a little easier, lighter, cheaper and confirmed to make more power.
hell we just picked up a 2021 10 speed. we put the roush 2.65 750 kit. did 692 rwhp, 615 try. I was astonished. I never thought it would make that power on a stock gt. now we have the throttle max from AM and it helped out alot. on a cold day in Houston we will do 700 plus.
I'd love to see you do some upgraded brakes and show stopping distance comparison/before & after.

Horsepower is one thing, laughing and shifting a manual boosted car is something totally different.
Lol I told you Battle, you wouldn't go wrong with that type of supercharger platform. Thats awesome man, Im happy you got a car with power that you can enjoy now and don't have to worry about breaking everytime you go to the track. You can do more racing than wrench turning instead of wrench turning than racing lol

Very good numbers on low boost! Im at similar numbers with the procharger. I should have sprung for the injectors and 415LPH. If anyone tears it apart they just dont know what these cars do with a little bit of boost. Very nice sir.

What’s nice about this power level is you’re still under the max torque input for the 10r80. The specs for it are 800 N-m nominal max input torque capacity which translates to about 590 ft-lbs. That first pill showed 521 ft-lbs

FYI They rate those pullies wrong at ESS. They make more boost than they rate them for. It’s making more than 7.5 lbs of boost. Regardless the ESS kit is a really good kit.

I'm doing a Procharger P1-X and suspension upgrades
Hey - do you happen to have a parts list of what all was installed with the supercharger? Been looking through the videos and don't see anything (if I missed it, I apologize)
On my G3 I am also running the 120 mm pulley and on my p3 gauge I saw 8.7 psi last night on a pull so the 7.5 psi rating is off by about 1 psi.
Agreed. It’s rated at 7.5 at like 7200 rpm. But with more RPM the psi goes up

Well crap , I wasn't looking at this type of supercharger because I thought it was more of a turbo power delivery. This look better than some screw type torque curves.

I’m personally a S197 Fan..as I have on my channel😁(shameless plug)but do love the specialty S550s..GT350..GT500 and definitely the Mach 1..but I’ll be afraid to drive that Mach 1 with that handling package front chin splitter.. it would be nerve-racking just to drive over speed bumps..any issues with that???
My non-handling package mach1 is a bit of a pain.. kind of glad I didn't wait for my original handling package order. Tho I do still want that spoiler...

He shouldn’t. My 350R sits lower and I’ve yet to scrub a speed bump. Speed humps on the other hand, I have to go at them at an angle

I'm looking at the G2 kit for my 2018. I'm not going for crazy power so the 125mm pulley and LU47 injectors on 93 is what I would do. I've seen that I don't need a upgraded fuel pump, but what about a BAP? I can't seem to figure out if is needed or not.

Yes. I have oil pump gears so I’m safe around 7700. MT 82 should do the same
what is the cost of the kit? With all the performance aspects of the mach 1 with the mod making more HP than the GT500. This seems to be the way to go.

Curious. If it was pulling 3 degrees up top, and you can’t lower boost without a pulley change, what adjustments allow you to add in more timing after the fact? Valve timing for better flow?

We put in better fuel basically to raise to true 93 octane and it cleaned up the pulls

Thats awesome man, great numbers, if they are available i would just simply do some test pipes to remove the restriction from the manifolds and keep the stock manifolds. You probably wouldn't gain much more from swapping the manifolds compared to removing the restriction with some test pipes. Im sure the car will be a fun car to drive!!

Everyone tuner is a mastermind genius at tuning lol. Would be kinda weird if it didn't make 700 plus. New mustangs are all one kit away from 700 wheel.

Can you elaborate on the comment u made about upping the octane on this build? What exactly were u running in the tank on this 735RW result?
One things for sure, Boosted Coyotes like rpm and you guys made serious power with this kit.
The 93 is had was crap. So we added a little booster to get to true 93. Tune was capped timing at 93. Won’t matter if there is 5000 octane in the tank. If the tuner caps timing for 93 tune then that’s all you get. So it’s a legit 93 tune. Now… if someone wants to add booster every time and have tuner bump timing for above 93 then they can do that bc there might be over 93 in the tank. I did not do that. My tune is based on 93 timing period. Most ppl have no clue how that works and think booster adds power. That’s not at all what it does lol. It just brings your octane up a few points but your tune dictates what the octane timing cap is. So if there is 100 octane in the tank, the tune does not automatically adjust for that. It’s still capped to only have 93 timing so any octane in the tank over 93 is a waist. Tuned cars can add timing on their own per the tune but there is a cap that is set to not go beyond to keep the car safe.
